Suggestions

The title may be a little vague, but so is this conversation.
A couple of days ago, I was reading through a "best voice in metal" forum and I stubled across a couple of people highly praising the band Mercenary. Normaly, I would shrug this off and keep reading, but I investigated. After listening to a few C.D.s, I found that they are amazing. So I urge you to not ignore people suggestions. Now, anything that you would suggest that people look at, see, hear, or play?
I would say that if you enjoy metal, go listen to a GWAR song or two. Quite halarious and great musicians. And the star wars book series "Heir to the Empire" by Timothy Zahn.

The reason I normally don't listen to rap is the repetitive lyrics of most mainstream rap that is popular now.

GWAR is on a tour right now. They're coming near my house, in NC, so I have been contemplating going to see them. But I'm not really a metal fan, so I'm scared of what I might find at the concert....what do you think?

I went to a GWAR concert not long ago. If you don't already know, they dress up in giant costumes, and spray fake blood and certain other "fluids" on the audience. It's all in good fun. There would probably be a mosh pit, but a calm one compaired to most. And if you do go, wear a white T-shirt so you may have a red and green(the lead singer jizzes odd colors) tye-dye shirt, and a great memory.

I suggest people listen to more metal from other countries. Like Cradle of Filth, Rammstein, and many more that i can't think of at the moment..oh Mayhem and Immortal.
