Suicidal Horses

So I was playing Red Dead earlier and whistled for my horse. It spawned on top of a nearby cliff. Swearing loudly I started to walk around to place where I could climb up to it, but apparently my horse was having issues and went off his meds because the next thing I know my horse jumped off the cliff and landed in a huddled heap nearby... dead. This and the times I've been to close to the river and had my horse drag me under lead me to believe that I may need psychiatric help for my horse.

Shoot it in the head and lasso a new 'un. That's what I do - I know it doesn't fix the issue but it makes me feel better.

I did a bounty hunting mission and had the guy tied up on the back of my horse. Now this was a damn good horse, he would never lose that much stamina despite me making him go full speed like all the time. So I'm near the sheriffs office in Armadillo when the horse just fucking collapses and dies on me, sending me and my bounty flying.

I skinned the horse and went to sell him and only got $3 for the skin! I got that depressed I went and had a few shots at the saloon in the horse's memory.

When I whistled later on, a different horse came and it was slow as shit and had crap stamina.So I went and caught the best horse I could find, as soon as I tamed it a fucking coyote jumps out of nowhere and kills it! Then the little ***** tried to bite me so I blew a whole in his head and raged because I had just got myself a good horse.

I have the worst luck with horses in that game. I had a fairly decent one from then on out though which has lasted me till the end of the game and is still alive.

I haven't really had any bad experiences with cougars...............Yet.

I think I've only encountered them a few times, and when I did I shot the crap out of them before they could get close.

I'd just lassoed a bounty after killing his mates when I whistled for my loyal steed. It came over and I walked up to it; and it trotted off. Dammit says I and whistle again. Horse stops by train tracks, I hear a train. I whistle again and it walks onto the tracks and stops.

Needless to say I was then without a horse and more bad guys had arrived.

I watched the achievement hunter video for "Dastardly!", and after placing the damsel on the train tracks, the horse ran in front of the train. Either it had issues, or it REALLY wanted to save that damsel in distress.

My horse likes to take the piss, I whistle it, it runs out of no where then as I get close to it, it walks off.

I have to whistle it to make it pause for a second then jump on it, if I have a hogtied dude, it's 3 whistles.
