Yes, everyone, summer is almost finished. But we can look back and remember the fun we've had. What did you guys do this summer? As the main point of discussion, which games did you play?

I went to the UK for nearly a month, and worked. But over the course of my four months off, I completed 18 games, from start to finish:

REPLAYS:
Silent Hill
Silent Hill 2
Silent Hill 3
Silent Hill 4: The Room
Fatal Frame
Fatal Frame II: Crimson Butterfly
Resident Evil 2
Resident Evil 3: Nemesis
American McGee's Alice

FIRST PLAYS:
Portal
Portal 2
Amnesia: The Dark Descent
Alice: Madness Returns
Metal Gear Solid 4: Guns of the Patriots
Shadow of the Colossus
LA Noire
Heavy Rain
Fatal Frame IV: Mask of the Lunar Eclipse

I got heavily into TF2 again. I first got into it when it just came out, and got totally hooked, but got tired of it after a while, and only played it on and off a little bit, and ended up missing most of the character updates. I bought a new mouse this summer, and to test it out I decided to play some TF2. OH MY GOD, SOO MUCH FUN. Since then I've been playing TF2 at a pace almost bordering on addiction, and I just can't get enough. Nothing compares to the feeling of sprinting behind a heavy as a scout, instantly turning, and shooting him in the back point blank 3-4 times, killing him before he can even react. Never realized how much my old mouse had been holding me back until now.

I...uhh...worked all summer. My lack of a reliable online connection or a gaming console heavily limited my recreational opportunities.

Still...18 games. Nice. :p

That's a lot of gaming.

I got through..

Red Dead Redemption
Darksiders
Dragon Age: Awakening (to be honest, I only had two hours left of it)

And that's it. I clocked in hours of Halo Reach, played about half of Chronicles of Riddick: Escape from Butcher Bay, and played a few missions in Army of Two: The Fortieth Day before getting bored because I'm playing it single player.
