Alrighty, so my mom just proposed that next year for my high school graduation, she will take me anywhere in the world that I want to go.

Problem is, I have no clue where to go!

I've been to Hawaii, Mexico, Canada, Florida, and Boston. The only places left that I find interest in would be Vegas, California, or Sweden.

Anybody have any input in this? I really have no clue where a fun place to go would be for high school graduation.

New York City. I am required to suggest it by my close proximity to its location and also its overwhelming awesomeness.

I would be envious.

Normandy maybe for me (but I'm a sucker for military history), Red Square in Moscow, or Chernobyl. Or Easter Island.

Definitely try something off of North America, get some variety. Sweden might be good: I myself fell in love with Barcelona (Spain), Saragossa (Spain), and Vence (France).

Where everything can kill you? :p
Not everything. Just most things.
Can't everything kill anyone under the right conditions? Like yes most objects would be just choking hazards but hey.
OT- Australia, why not? We are currently freezing our asses off.

It's so beautiful..

But seriously. Australia is awesome, Melbourne especially. Sports, history, great art galleries and museums, the cafe and food culture is kickass..

Ummm... I think I'll pass. I visit Melbourne and I'll immediately be put on Singapore's Swine Quarantine list just because I went there. I have no intention of being placed under 10 days of house arrest. No place is worth that.

but yes, Melbourne would be a good choice, or maybe even Japan. But whatever you do, DO NOT GO TO CHINA!

Melbourne is amazing. I've only been there once but I want to live there. So much culture. And eating. Everyone eats everything all the time there. 5 in the morning. Food. 11pm at night. Food.

Australia is pretty damn great. *salutes flag* Australians all let us rejoice, for we are young and free...

Turkey, I recommend Turkey to everyone who hasn't been there. Also, as you sound like an American, you'll be a rarity and you could use that to pull, if you wanted.

Plus Turkey's * expletive* awesome.

Well, I can say that it's down to the following:

California
Sweden
Australia
New York City

I still can't decide though. I guess it really all depends on if I have a girlfriend next year.
