Hello, I'm DarkRawen, and this is the recruitment thread for a very open-world superhero thread. It is so open-world that, in fact, I won't even be your GM. The idea is based on what became of another superhero RP (The Threshold Event) before it ended, which was basically a RP with pretty much complete character freedom, democratically based decisions, and fun interactions without a heavy plot. The idea is to let you, the player, have one or two superhero or villain characters, and let the characters do as the characters do. That said, antisocial behaviour won't be accepted, and nor will total anarchy. If someone has an issue with your post, it's expected that it's taken to heart, though criticism should always be careful and polite. Similarly, if you don't interact with other characters at all, that too will be an issue.

So, without further ado, I'll get to the more useful parts of this OP.

The setting is a slightly alternative version of our world, with the RP taking place in a modern day (think 2000-2009) city in the US. It's currently called "Neutropolis" -which might very well change because that's an utterly ridiculous name- and the city is relatively densely populated, but not to the point of being extremely crowded. It has quite a few super-powered individuals, some stronger than others. Even so, while super-powers are not that strange or mysterious anymore, it is still not that common, and most superheroes and villains keeps their powers hidden, only using them once they know their daily life identity is safe. It's a city with a mixed population, immigration is very common, and people come from all over the world. It has a rich and varied culture.

Basically, Neutropolis is a city that the players can build after their own need, adding locations and features as long as it's reasonable and accepted by the other players. It has NPCs heroes and villains, as well as PC characters.

Name: Goes without saying.

Gender: Same as above, though if Sexes and gender differ, please mention that.

Age: Age of the character. If you're going with a more mysterious/alien character, the age they appear to be work as well.

Appearance: General appearance. A picture can be added, but a written description is needed. Body type/height is also a good thing to add, since it gives people a sense of physical relations to other characters.

Personality: Their every-day personality and quirks.

Skills: All skills that's not related to their alter ego.

Weaknesses: Again, not connected to the alter ego or their powers.

Bio: Background, a short description of how they grew up, how they got to the City and so on.

Alignment: Chaotic Good? Lawfully Evil? Choose what fits best.

Alias: What do people call your Hero/villain?

Alter Ego Appearance: Costume, any alterations to physical traits, and so on.

Origin of Powers: Origin of superpower. Please note that it's possible to have technology as a superpower instead, and that this is the place where you describe how you got it.

Description of Powers: How do the powers work? This is where the abilities and strengths go, as well as benefits.

Weaknesses of Powers: How your powers are limited, and what they are weak against.

Role in the Media and Public Eye: This is a description of how the media sees your hero or villain, and why that is. It's also how they act in the public eye, and what role they tend to play.

As an example, I will put up my first of two character sheets:

Name: Frederick Rolls

Gender: Male

Age: 34

Appearance: Dark brown hair that's well kept and orderly, if a bit long in the neck. He has dark blue eyes, and slightly pale skin. He's about 5'9" and has a slender and small body. The most noticeable aspect of him would be the grin he tends to be wearing, and it can be seen in his eyes even when he's not actually smiling. He wears suits and is well-dressed most of the time. In court he wears a simple judge's robe and a colourful, often dark purple, bow-tie.

Personality: Frederick is a peculiar man. He's got a mischievous sense of humour, and can be described as sarcastic and wry because it amuses him to watch people get annoyed and confused. Even so, he's very professional and dedicated to his role as a judge, and will do his outermost to make a respectable and fair decision. Outside his job he's the type that goes from childish to mature very quickly. He is a nitpicker and likes to argue, despite his respect for the law, he's the first person to find and use the loopholes when he does need them, though he is certainly not corrupt, and will mostly use them for the benefits of others. He doesn't let personal life interfere with his work.

He enjoys sweets and tea, clever company and the theatre, though he'll be happy enough with one out of three. He's intelligent and thoroughly, though trying to talk him out of something or force him to do something might make him act childish or bored. Frederick is terribly stubborn as well, though he's a good person, and is not as selfish as he might seem.

Skills: Frederick knows a lot about the law, especially criminal law, as it is often his field of practice. He's born of German parents, so he knows German, as well as having picked up French as a youth. He's good with information, both gathering it and drawing conclusion from it, and can assess a situation without bias. He's got a decent voice, and used to take part in musicals when he was younger, even landing quite a few main roles, though it was a local thing. Occasionally, he plays the piano. Frederick is a decent baker, and better with a computer than most may think.

Weaknesses: Sometimes, his habit of judging fairly might be a little too neutral for a situation, and people tend to get offended by both this and his jokes. He's physically weak as well as a little short, so he's not much of a fighter. Frederick wouldn't admit it, but he's developed a fear of knives, though only in the hands of someone else.

Bio: Frederick was born in Neutropolis to a pair of recently immigrated Germans. He grew up in a fairly middle class home, with both parents working office jobs. He often had to take care of his younger sister, and while he spent that time teasing her and joking a lot, they grew up caring a lot for each other. Together, they attended piano lessons, her moving onto the violin and him taking extra classes singing, and joining a local theatre group. He doesn't remember just when it was he took an interest in law, but already in high school he knew what he was going to do, and started working hard for that purpose. His parents attention were divided between supporting their hard-working, and rather brilliant law-student, and the musically daughter, who would later go on to become known across the whole country. Eventually, he passed the bar exam, at the age of 25. He chose to work for the state.

4 years later, and he found himself being offered a position as a judge, and found himself in a good position. He worked his way up and quickly became respected despite his somewhat sarcastic tone at times. Everything was bliss, until 3 years ago, when he at age 31, was stabbed due to the harsh punishment given to a cult-leader with more than one screw loose. After a month in coma, he woke up, though he'd experienced something unbelievable. He had not only had an out of body experience, but it had been controlled, and better yet, he had made sure of it. Even more unbelievable, he was able to do it ever since that incident.

Since then, he's been more careful when walking the streets, having chosen to keep working as a judge -despite the jury aggravating him at times- and more so, he's been enjoying his life with an alter ego, the somewhat unusual hero named Specter.

Alignment: Lawful good, though that's partly because he knows how to word things to make it more legal for him to do.

Alias: The Phantom of the Opera, sometimes simply Ghost or, his most preferable nickname, The Specter.

Alter Ego Appearance: The Specter has two forms. One is the form where he is still in his body, using his powers. It becomes white and see-through, with most features hard to make out. He will wear what he is currently wearing, as well as the tragedy and comedy masks, with the comedy mask usually in front of his face, and the other on the back of his head or the side.

When he leaves his body behind, however, he becomes more of a specter, with only his upper body showing, mostly having the appearance of a dense mist in the shape of a torso, arms, and head. His features are impossible to make out in this form, though the masks will still be easy to spot, having almost a substance compared to the rest. They will alternate more, depending on his mood, and appear to float rather than hang from his face.

Origin of Powers: He's not completely sure how he got his powers, but he believes it is connected to the time he was stabbed and ended up in a coma, as it was the first time he used those powers. Honestly, he thinks it might have something to do with the red liquid on the blade, and the odd symbols but he never had the chance to find out. (Witchcraft! Or rather, curse gone wrong (right?).)

Description of Powers: As there are two forms, one where he takes his body along, and one where he doesn't, the powers vary. If he does take it along, this makes him easier tired, and he can't use any other powers than the basic ones (passing through walls, going invisible, flying.) Like this, he can turn on and off his "interactions" with the real world, and touch stuff or pass through them at will, for individual body parts as well as his whole body.

If he leaves his body behind, however, he enter the Specter form. This enables him to use his powers a lot longer and gives him access to powers that would be impossible otherwise. His basic powers of flight and passing through things are permanent in this form, and doesn't cost any energy. As for other powers, making himself invisible becomes easier, and he can, technically, possess someone (NPC) for a very short amount of time, though he won't do this unless there's a need. If he touches an object, it becomes intangible like he is, thus becomes rather useless unless his objective is to bring it with him. Because of this, he can also use telekinesis in this form, and even if it's not the strongest, it packs a punch.

Weaknesses of Powers: Apart from his telekinesis, the Specter has no real fighting ability.

When he uses his powers while still in his body, he has to activate intangibility each time in order not to get affected by punches, which tends to get tiring quickly. His Specter form is more resistant, being mostly unaffected by physical attacks -though his form acts like smoke, and could, in theory, get pushed around by them- and being more vulnerable to attacks like fire and electricity, as well as freezing -though not frozen pieces of water- and so on. He can avoid attacks like these easily enough, though they tend to be hard to see coming.

Role in the Media and Public Eye: While Frederick is a hero, and has done heroic acts, the media still doesn't know just what to think. On one hand, it would appear that he's a good guy from his actions and statements, however, most people can't get over the fact that he appears to be a real ghost, haunting people. If nothing else, he's gotten used to it, and at times, it really amuses him to scare people, which is also a good way to catch someone off guard without actually physically harming someone. He'll often stay invisible while dealing with common people, however. No one knows that he is the Specter, though his sister has suspiscions. He avoids fighting, and simply seek to hinder the illegal activities of criminals, and get them to the courts so they can be tried for their crimes.

Apart from me, both IFS and VuvuZelaMan are part of this, they'll submit at least one sheet each. Because of this, "Goo Power" (Both me and IFS will have a character with this) and "Shapeshifting" (Vuvuzela's character), are already taken. Any other power, as long as it's not OP or too dark -it's most likely going to be rather light-hearted, after all- , is acceptable if used correctly, though I'd steer away from mind-control/manipulation of PC characters, because no one is going to like that.

Finally, Rules:

- While none of the three of us are the GM, we do have a say when it comes to the sheets of this RP, and will judge them together.

- You can have one or two characters, though, if you do have two, it might be a good idea to make one villain and one hero, or something similar to that, for the sake of balance. If you're unsure of if you can handle two characters, make one to start with and see how it goes, you can always add a second one during the game.

- Rudeness isn't going to go over well in an RP like this, and being a jerk to others is only going to lead to disagreements. Please don't.

- Be creative. Nothing is going to happen if everyone sit around expecting plot to happen in this RP.

- Be aware of your grammar. It certainly doesn't need to be perfect, but people should be able to understand what you write without having to ask.

- The RP is most likely going to have a light-hearted tone, so if you're expecting a grimdark superhero RP, this isn't the one you want.

I think that's it for now. If there's anything you're wondering about, or want to comment on, please do. I may not be the GM, but I'm responsible for the thread, so I'll do my best to answer.

Also, note: As I'm not the only one behind this, this thread might change a little depending on what happens.

Hey, it's a character!

Name: Goes by Ash. Birth name is Ashley Anastasia Steel. Dislikes middle name.

Gender: She's female.

Age: 22, birthday April 20.

Appearance: Ash normally has medium brown hair, kept trimmed to shoulder length, and light brown eyes. Her skin is lightly tanned. Standing at 5'4", Ash has well-toned wiry musculature and a svelte frame. She usually dresses simply when not on the way to or from work or being Slender Girl, favoring jeans or shorts (weather depending) and T-shirts of short or long sleeve, often in a blue color. It's often difficult to tell just exactly how precisely fit her body is.

Personality: I'm just mostly seeing Ash as a bit of a closet hedonist with whatever odd sense of humor I end up coming up with, but she tries to be helpful and polite when she can remember to, and the rest will work itself out.

Skills: Ash has graduated from college with a Bachelor of Science in Kinesiology and thus has a related knowledge set (including some first aid), can cook well enough, and sew competently.

Weaknesses: Unless Ash has some particular knowledge of a situation, she tends to wing it.

Bio: Ash was born Ashley Anastasia Steel in a suburb about half an hour outside of Neutropolis to Michael and Anabelle Steel. She grew up an only child in a technically-not-lower middle class home, with her father working seasonal construction work and her more frail mother switching between being a housewife and going on extended undisclosed trips. Ash was always a bit of a tomboy growing up, occasionally roughhousing around and usually never remaining as clean as her father wanted; her mother just found it hilarious.

When Ash began reaching puberty, her powers started to manifest slightly -- sometimes her hair would grow unusually fast, or something minor such as that -- she had fun playing with it in ways people wouldn't suspect (apart from the time her mother combined that talk with another talk... turns out her abilities were somewhat familial, though Mrs. Steel had never become as adept as Ash seemed all too willing to become). As Ash grew older, her mother's trips grew more frequent, until one day she sat Ash down and explained all too distantly that she needed to find something, and ended up leaving Ash and Mr. Steel indefinitely to go find whatever it was that she needed.

Eventually, Ash would end up noticing that certain people were... well, let's just say unpleasant... but Ash never really had a specific call to duty; as her powers grew, she just needed something to do with them. Her father likened it to Anabelle's wanderlust on several occasions, and let it slide (as far as she knew).

Ash would go on to move to Neutropolis to attend college, graduate with a BS in Kinesiology, and start working toward a career as a fitness instructor; right now, she works at a gym she used to attend while in college. Her other exploits, however, would become more renowned, her somewhat eldritch-seeming abilities and choice in attire yielding the name of Slender Girl. Ash always thought it was odd she wasn't Slender Woman, even though she was an adult -- too many overdeveloped supers, one would imagine.

Alignment: Chaotic Good, some CN tendency

Alias: Slender Girl. Somehow some reporter came up with the moniker, and Ash ran with it.

Alter Ego Appearance:
Changes to physical traits: Ash changes her hair color to black, her eye color to light blue, and lightens her tan considerably. Her facial structure also becomes somewhat thinner.
Outfit: Amber sunglasses are an odd departure from the black theme, but she wears them, along with black fingerless gloves and boots, and a comfortably loose white sleeveless shirt and pants. A black trenchcoat or shorter pants and shoes may be substituted, depending on weather.

Origin of Powers: Ash was born this way.. Apparently someone in her family tree is some kind of supernatural creature; Ash isn't too sure what, since she inherited no mythical weaknesses.

Description of Powers: Shapeshifting: Ash can changed her body's form and structure in various ways, remaining within an essentially humanoid form. Notably, she can slightly change her height and build, and the color to her hair and eyes can change to any variant found amongst non-metahumans. Ash can become supernaturally flexible, and can grow sharp, durable claws in place of her nails (length varies, but Ash can always seem to get them sharp enough to cut steel if desired). She can also adapt herself to better deal with getting hit. This power also results in her having a peak physical condition, as well as heightened senses and reflexes. If Ash can change anything else, she's unaware as she has never tried to do so.
Weaknesses of Powers: Unless specifically having changed an attribute, Ash is precisely as human as anyone else, and can't deal with things any better than a given unpowered human -- her physique, senses, and reflexes aside.

Role in the Media and Public Eye: is seen as a heroic figure, though a bit mysterious due to her preference to not proclaim her heroics to the world at large, like a certain hammy goo hero... and the fact that some people think she's the child of the Slender Man. But Ash tends to be heroic, even if she isn't a perfect example of being a superheroic ideal.

This looks pretty fun. Hope you like my character's background isn't too wacky and as always I'm open to suggestions or criticisms.
Name: Vasily Alexander Bezraz, prefers Alex

Gender: Male

Age: 21

Appearance: Alex dresses like the son of a Russian crime boss should dress which is eye-catching to say the least. He dresses in designer clothes and fancy shoes with authentic snap-backs just to play it safe. Not only that but he's tall and stands at just about 6'3 but he's a dwarf compared to his physically imposing father and apart from his name, Alex looks nothing like his father. Instead of a pock-ridden, scarred, and square face, Alex's face is baby soft with a hint of femininity that he so desperately tries to correct. His milky, hazel eyes don't help in his fight either but he is quite fit and lean. Alex keeps his head shaved but his hair is a dirty blonde much like his mother.

Personality: Alex is a typical young adult of the new millennial year in which he is an individualist bordering on narcissistic. He strongly believes in the indomitable human spirit and as a by product he is also an atheist. He voices his opinion on the matter and acts decisively through his actions but he is down to earth about most other things. Humor doesn't fall easily on him as he sees things quite directly and as for what it really is. He's also a bit daring and acts first whenever he can which has lead him to be known as a bit assertive in certain situations. But despite it all, Alex gets things done and when he has to buckle down then he grudgingly does so. He works hard at what he does mostly out of fear of what happens when he doesn't. His mind is restless and constantly he has inclinations to touch this, fiddle with that, talk to her and move somewhere else where he can be more productive. Alex hopes that one day he can own a successful, clean business as opposed what his family has now.

Skills: He has been involved in martial arts most of his life because of his older brother who often used to beat him up. Alex specialized in Krav Magra and he is quite a force to be reckoned with in a fight especially if he is angry enough. He can speak fluent Russian and has a knack for Russian history as well. Despite his family's notorious and main source of income, Alex is studying for a master's degree in administration and is an honor student throughout his educational history. Alex is also personable and can speak publicly without fear. He can fire and maintain a firearm easily as well.

Weaknesses: As much as he likes to think he is a decisive person, Alex is quite reckless and headstrong because of it. Often he doesn't see his consequences as soon as others would as easily. He is also quick to anger and hard to be removed from it.

Bio: Alex is the second child of Bezraz family. He has an older brother, Dmitri and a younger sister named Catherine. The family of four immigrated from Moscow to Neutropolis for "business" as his father used to put it. He was young at the time but he still remembers the cold so vividly. But something set him apart from his other siblings. Whenever his father was away, his older brother said he was adopted as older brothers usually do. This angered him quite a lot but he could never do something about it as Dmitri was his father's son without a doubt as displayed by his sheer size and strength. His mother had died when he was at a young age but the reasons eluded him. Alex thought his mother's death had something to do with them leaving Russia but he wasn't sure himself.

Then when he was 13 he was kidnapped by a rival criminal organization known as the Ditellis. They were angered that his father moved into their territory and now they were going to send a message. The Ditellis brought Alex to an abandoned laboratory and threw him into a large cylindrical glass cage hooked to a broken machine with a similar glass cage on its other side. The Ditelli thugs were going to fill the dusty glass cage with water to drown him. The water was halfway full when a lighting strike hit the laboratory and electricity surged throughout the facility. The machine sparked to life and it whirred and whined. Alex felt every part of him start to tear apart and soon he disappeared into a red mist... only to reappear in the cage on the other side of the machine.

The Ditelli thugs were shocked and dumbfounded but nonetheless they opened fire on Alex to finish the job. Alex saw this and closed his eyes thinking to get out of there and the next thing he knew he was out of the cage. Instead he reappeared in the adjacent room and was able to escape to his father. The laboratory burned to the ground from the lightning strike and the thugs burned with it.

Alex told his father about getting kidnapped and that angered the man enough to send him into a rage. He ordered an attack on the Ditellis as soon as possible and before Alex was about to tell him about his new found powers he was off somewhere else. So Alex decided to keep the secret to himself and secretly honed his teleportation skills.

He put his powers to the test when the Ditellis attacked again. Alex was walking Catherine home when they were attacked by thugs. Using his powers he teleported around the thugs and beat them to a pulp but at the end of it he was exhausted. Luckily only Catherine was present and she helped him home. Alex told her to tel no one and so far no one else knows about his powers even as he hunts the Ditellis day and night.

Alignment: Chaotic Neutral

Alias: Blink, Red Mist, Jumper

Alter Ego Appearance: Alex wears a balaclava with a skull imprinted on its face. Other than that he wears a kevlar vest underneath a red, leather jacket with black cargo pants. On his right leg he keeps a holster for his pistol that he's named "Lady Catherine". On either hands he has brass knuckles that he uses when things get personal.

Origin of Powers: He always thought that he was at the right place at the right time. The accident gave him his powers but he investigated into the abandoned laboratory to find out that the laboratory was shut down when the head scientist was found to be experimenting on humans trying to use the machine that gave him his powers.

Description of Powers: Alex has the power of short-range teleportation. Anywhere within 30 feet of Alex he can teleport to with relative ease. Often he strings together a chain of teleportations that allow him to traverse distances and close the distance with his enemies. Surprise and speed are his main weapons along with actual weapons. When he teleports a flash bursts and consumes him followed by another flash when he reappears.

Weaknesses of Powers: Stringing together teleporations is rather a consuming task and the more teleportations he strings together the weaker he becomes. He has to take a moment to wait and allow himself to cool down. At ten teleportations in a row, he becomes utterly exhausted and if he attempts a eleventh one then he can no longer control how his body will reform meaning he will die. Not only that but his teleportations are quite apparent as evident by a flash followed by red mist wherever he goes.

Role in the Media and Public Eye: Alex acts like a rogue vigilante in every regard. After he beats up his target he strings them up to lampposts or brings them to the front of the police station. He prefers to keep out of the spotlight and the jail cell so he avoids the police as much as he can. His main target is the Ditelli crime family but if he spots a citizen in danger then he intervenes when he can.

Seams interesting enough,

Name: Jason Tannis (false identity)

Gender: Gender-neutral, appears male

Age: Jason has been active for 6 months but the program itself is centuries old

Appearance: Jason is average. Average in every way imaginable. He is as tall as the average male for the entire world. His weight (when active) is also the exact mean for earth's male population. His hair is dark brown and his eyes are the same. His skin is tan to the point where it could be either a perfect sun-tan or a natural skin color. He wears whatever clothing is most common for the region (jeans, a T-shirt, a leather jacket, a pair of Air Jordan shoes, and a pair of Aviators). Where his appearance is off normal however is in his mannerisms. When Jason first arrived, he spoke like he was from the 1950s (since that was the data available) but has sense moved to more modern language. However, his data assimilation has been imperfect because of the accident and as a result he still occasionally uses 60-year-old mannerisms.

Personality: Jason believes itself superior to all life on this planet. He doesn't believe earthlings are bad by any means, he's just from a superior culture sent to evaluate "lowly humanity" and guide it toward an "integrable cultural outlook". He doesn't have emotions, though his program knows how to fake emotional reactions when necessary. Rather, Jason helps people because it serves his mission and he was programmed to ensure the planet survives until it can be integrated into galactic society.

Skills: Jason is, understandable, very good with computers. The simple devices are more easy for him to navigate than perhaps any other system. He has an encyclopedic knowledge of human history and speaks every language. He is knowledgeable about science well in advance of human ability, though he has little need for it in the current phase of his program and his lack of creativity (see below) makes him incapable of making new tools for which he doesn't have the designs. He has many other talents - inter-planetary navigation, Stellar-cartography, Interplanetary negotiations, etc - but they are largely useless on such a backwater planet. He's learned how to pass as human and can perform other normal skills though he has no special talent for them. He's a logical being and as a result has no creative ability.

Weaknesses: Jason isn't very good with people. Most times he can fake understanding social ques but when he makes a mistake he'll have no understanding that he even made a mistake until he sees the reaction. Thus far he's avoided "high-risk" locations while in his concealed form so as not to risk his discovery.

Bio: Jason wasn't born; he was made. He was made on a distant world some 80 thousand lightyears from earth. His original nano-probe was made millions of years ago and his program several hundred years ago, though neither went active until 6 months ago. Jason was sent by an alien species - the Cathkrinar - to assess the viability of human civilization for integration into galactic society. He is, for all intents and purposes, a mix of ambassador, spy, and guardian for the planet. Jason was sent to Earth when the first of earth's transmissions started reaching Cathkrinar ears (specifically an episode of a show called "Happy Days") The Cathkrinar saw potential in humanity. Humans were rather robust and technologically innovative. The transmissions they received thereafter worried the Cathkrinar however as evidence of both the good and evil of humanity were discovered thereafter (In the form of the Civil Rights movement). Seeing the potential risks and rewards, they chose to send a Class-J probe.

Jason was given all the information the Cathkrinar had on earth then launched into the void in an FTL probe. Of course, when aiming for a planet 60 lightyears away, there's a certain degree of risk in missing the target. Jason was fortunate in that the error was small, but it was still large enough that his probe burned up in the upper atmosphere. When Jason landed, he was but a handful of nano-robots. Over the next few hours, he multiplied (consuming several kilos of earth matter) until he'd acquired enough volume to move on. Then, most of his probes took shape to disguise themselves as a human male. From there, he began his mission. First, his swarm searched out the nearest source of information (an internet connection in the middle of Nevada) and tried to absorb as much information on the planet as he could. Unfortunately, here he was unprepared. Based on the transmissions he'd received before being sent, he'd expected an analog connection. When he discovered the digital internet, it overloaded his processors causing irreparable damage to some of his program. While he corrected quickly to compensate for the digital data stream, he lost many of his program's features; most notably his ability to change his camouflage.

Stuck in one human form, he was forced to create a "human identity" to maintain his human disguise. Using the now-safe data stream, Jason downloaded most of human history and language into his program. From there, he made his way to the nearest population center to begin his study. For a few months, he traversed the world laying down probes with which to study humanity. However, in a city called "Neutropolis" something unexpected happened. He'd been studying a woman in her daily life for nearly a week from a distance. She had just walked into a currency-storage facility called a "bank" when there was an explosion. Several other humans were attempting to take money from the bank. In doing so, they put his subject in danger and contaminated his study. To prevent further damage to his study, he shifted into swarm-form and dealt with the robbers swiftly (though he did not kill them; his program forbade it).

He was about to disappear when the people all began clapping and cheering. While he didn't feel anything, he understood the meaning of the act. Realizing that being a "superhero" as the earthlings called it was a useful way to access more information about the species, he's occasionally acted in their defense since. So far, his study has kept him in Neutropolis. Because of the nanomachines he was made of, the people called him "Nano" and the name has stuck.

Other: It should be noted that the Cathkrinar are not nessisarily a friendly force. They would likely desire to assimilate humanity into their faction of alien society to suit their needs. As such, they may try to influence humanity into following their model of development against humanities will, enslave the population, or - more positively - lift them up into the galactic society as "equals". Alternatively, they may be an enlightened species seeking a fellow intelligent society with which to trade resources and knowledge. As a result, they can be friend or foe (maybe a little of both) depending on the needs of the game.

Alignment: Nano is an Anti-Hero and is True Neutral (leaning Neutral Good). Nano is beyond morality and ethics and is true neutral. However, his role as superhero has proven useful which necessitates his continued good behavior. While he acts good in every conceivable way, if the hero status becomes less useful he'll switch sides in a blink of an eye. In addition, the Cathkrinar can't be considered a force of good either and as such could force him to act in a way detrimental to humanity

Alias: Nano

Alter Ego Appearance: While playing a hero, Jason takes the form of a swarm of silver metal machines. He's highly amorphous but generally sticks with a humanoid shape due to the error in his program. He often wields weapons created with his powers.

Origin of Powers: His powers are all from the technological swarm of machines he is. The swarm is alien technology.

Description of Powers: Nano is a swarm of tiny machines. These machines are each linked together in a computer network to act in unison. They each have the ability to fly, though when in human form the tiny wings are inactive. He has several powers:

1) Datalink: Nano can interface directly with any computer system. While super-human technology may be able to resist his probes, normal human technology is child's play to him.

2) Matter Conversion: Nano is able to breakdown matter in the sub-atomic scale and reconstruct it into more nano-probes. This allows him to make objects out of nano-probes, recharge his batteries, and recover from physical blows which would kill a human (though sufficient damage will still knock him out for a long period of time and facilitate capture). Nano's max volume is slightly larger than that of a human and the weapons he can make.

3) Electrical Discharge: Nano can empty his batteries into a person to strike them with a bolt of electricity. While capable of electrocuting a person, his programing limits him to taser level strikes. Against non-sentient targets, he has no reservations.

4) Strength: Because of the overall larger mass of the probes and their ability to better distribute weight to counter the effects of torsion, Nano in his human/humanoid forms is slightly stronger than the average person (professional body-builder level strength)

Weaknesses of Powers: In theory, Nano can be hacked by a sufficiently skilled person with the right equipment. Electro-magnetic attacks can disrupt his program. His machines can be broken just like any other object, though catching all of them is the trick. If he were somehow locked in a field which prevented his access to matter, he would lose much of his power and slowly starve.

Role in the Media and Public Eye: The media doesn't know what to think of Nano. He's a mysterious force and no one knows where he came from. Nano has never said a word to the press. Despite his mysterious nature, Nano has always acted to protect as many people as possible while never taking life.

Name: Tom Braider

Gender: Male

Age: 24

Appearance: He stands at about five foot ten inches tall, with short blonde hair, light brown eyes and a perpetual grin. He is a bit chubby due to his eating habits, but not terribly so. He tends to dress in casual clothes (T-shirts, shorts and such) often brightly colored.

Personality: Tom is a very enthusiastic individual, he loves to make friends, tell jokes or stories, eat, drink and in general enjoy life. He loves to help people and in general be everyone's friend, and while he can be something of a hedonist or a procrastinator on occasion he does have a fairly strong sense of responsibility, so while he isn't the smartest he is quite reliable. He loves superhero stories though comic book continuity confuses him so he generally sticks to movies, and usually has a movie night once a week. He is terrified of heights, and has a slight fear of seeing his own blood, both of which cause him to feel somewhat faint.

Skills: Tom is a part time college student, and while he has changed majors often (bouncing so far between a literary major, a film major, journalism, and a few others, currently settled on a degree in journalism though he's thinking about changing). When not in school he works either as a cook at a nearby restaurant, cooking being something he's quite good at, or as a cashier at a comic shop. Even with all of his education most of his skills are social.

Weaknesses: As stated before Tom is not the brightest individual, and he is terrified of heights and the sight of his own blood. He is also fairly easy to distract, though when he gets really focused on something (for example when a paper is due in a few hours) this trait lessens significantly.

Bio: Tom was always a happy and social guy, who loved to make friends, talk with people and such. His excitable nature exhausted his parents, but they were glad to have such a happy child. It also got him into trouble on occasion though, such as when a friend convinced him to sneak onto the roof of the school building, where said friend jokingly pushed him off, causing him to lose his balance and fall, fortunately ending up stuck in a tree instead of hitting the ground, though firefighters had to be called to get him down and it led to his lifelong fear of heights.

While he was never terribly athletic he was always decently popular in school, a trend that continued into college. In college he continued to make friends, have fun, and on occasion learn a thing or two. It wasn't until his second year that his powers began to emerge, at first startling him but soon enough exciting him as he figured out how to use them soon enough becoming a superhero like the ones he idolized in films.

He's always lived in Neutropolis as long as he can remember, though he wasn't born there.

Alignment: Chaotic Good/Neutral Good. While he respects and tries to follow the rules as best he can he can tend to get excited and forget about such things.

Alias: Tom calls his alter ego Sir Awesome, the media has tended to refer to him as 'Black Goo' though.

Alter Ego Appearance: Tom's powers make a costume unnecessary, as they create a mass of thick black goo around him that obscures his appearance.

Origin of Powers: Tom likes to claim that he got his power from drinking soda and eating pop rocks at the same time, although in reality he isn't sure how he got them. The truth is that he was subject to secret government gene manipulation experiments before he was even born, though his powers took so long to manifest that the government had stopped monitoring him by then, having judged the project to be a failure. He was later put up for adoption and taken in by his current family who are also unaware of the experiments done to him.

Description of Powers: Tom can cause a strange black goo to exude from his skin, which quickly coats him in a think layer of it, he can see normally through it and form a sort of malleable armor with it. When in his "goo suit" he becomes much stronger and faster, and it provides an immense amount of protection against almost all forms of damage. The goo can be selectively hardened, and moved to allow it to form a variety of things, from a simple suit of armor to a giant rolling blob, to a giant spider, and more.

Weaknesses of Powers: Using his power leaves him very hungry, the more goo he creates the hungrier he ends up, and while he hasn't experimented much this does leave an upper limit for how much goo he could create. The goo exudes from all over his body, so he cannot selectively use it to create an appendage on one part of him, and it decays into nothing but a bad smell very quickly after being detached from the main blob, or when he is finished with it. Finally while the goo is very good at protecting against most damage fire causes it to break apart, forcing him to exude more to maintain his mass.

Role in the Media and Public Eye: The media sees 'Black Goo' as a hero, as he's done a number of heroic things, his appearance leaves some wondering if he's human at all, and he does tend to cause some destruction in his heroics due to his powers not lending themselves to delicate or subtle action well.

Here is the aforementioned 'goo power' character, the previously mentioned villain character is now posted below.

Name: Teresa Lamont, though she prefers to go by Tess

Gender: Female

Age: 24

Appearance: About 5'6" with brown eyes and hair, her hair is a bit frizzy and she tends to keep it either short or tied back to keep it out of the way. She likes to dress to accentuate her figure and femininity, and is very fit and attractive.

Personality: Tess tends to be a jovial sort, often whimsical or even flirtatious, though her darker tendencies do become more pronounced with use of her power. She is very selfish, and quite greedy though she often masks this and feigns a sense of honor, as she enjoys subtly defying or breaking rules, though she is not opposed to more overt infractions. She particularly enjoys exercising her powers, especially in a violent or forceful manner, seeing nonviolent uses of it as boring.

Skills: Tess is a skilled martial artist, and has graduated college with a degree in electrical engineering, outside of more apparent skills she is a practiced liar. She also has some practice with free-running and has some experience with a number of other sports.

Weaknesses:Tess tends to lack restraint at times, becoming easily annoyed or angry at minor things. She's also fairly arrogant and haughty, which can make it easy for her to overlook things.

Bio: Tess was born to a single father, who spoke very little of her supposedly dead mother, and tended to be a rather stern parent. He was a loving but authoritarian parent, who constantly pressured her to work harder, a pressure that conflicted with her more carefree nature. Even so she was a playful and happy child, only coming to dislike the pressure her father put on her later in life.

Tess discovered her powers early on in life, her father moved around a lot so she was often leaving what friends she had behind. In her loneliness she did what any child could be expected to do, and played with toys, only to her surprise the toys began moving on their own and obeying her thoughts! Soon she discovered that this extended to all manner of things and began to experiment with the range of her abilities. She began to use the power subtly in her everyday life, delighting in using them without others noticing, as they let her find a mischievous outlet that her father was unaware of.

This usage began to peak when she began to enter into martial arts competitions (that skill being one that her father had encouraged when she was younger) and used her powers to give herself a leg up on the competition, secretly boosting her speed, reflexes and strength. With the success of such endeavors she began to harbor the idea of making a living in such a way, although her father remained insistent that she finish college, which she did.

Her father passed away in her senior year of college, which she finished out of some sense of respect to him, though it wasn't long after she graduated that she began to live out her dreams of super-villainy which has made her enough money to live quite well. These dreams brought her to Neutropolis, which she sees as an excellent place to make her mark.

Alignment: Chaotic Evil/Chaotic Neutral (She is rather self interested, but how evil she is depends highly on what mood she is in, and she does like to pretend to act lawfully/honorably most of the time).

Alias: Domino, on account of the Domino mask she wears to hide her identity.

Alter Ego Appearance: Her overall costume tends to vary though like her civilian dress its always rather form fitting, and often distracting. This is intentional as she considers it an advantage to have people be distracted by her appearance, and enjoys the attention to a degree. The only part of her costume that remains consistent is the domino mask she wears to cover her eyes and conceal her identity.

Origin of Powers: As far as she knows she was born with her powers.

Description of Powers: Tess is capable of animating objects, as well as applying various enhancements to them, though said enhancements all fit the intended purpose of the object. Said objects obey her commands but have a limited ability to act on their own, as each animated object contains a piece of her mind. Primarily she animates/enhances the clothing she wears, enhancing them to give herself enhanced strength and speed, and with their ability to act on their own enhanced reflexes as well. The animated clothing is also much tougher, resistant to the elements, and more durable, and her domino mask seems to have some sort of obfuscation on it, making it hard for people to realize her identity and making pictures/footage of her too fuzzy to identify her. Her gloves and shoes grip well enough that she can scramble up walls, and the loose folds of her clothing that would be hazardous to another super tend to only get caught on things when its to her advantage. She usually carries a number of other small objects to animate, especially a length of rope or some effective equivalent, which she animates and uses as necessary.

Weaknesses of Powers: Tess must touch an object to animate it (her gloves do not interfere with this), and as each animated object is empowered by a piece of her mind the more objects she animates the less stable she becomes. She has particular difficulty animating large objects, the largest she's managed being a small car. If an animated object is destroyed the piece of her mind is returned as her power over the object was broken. Additionally it seems that clothing worn by other people is more difficult to animate, as are things they are holding, and while she still can affect them her power tends fade quickly.

Role in the Media and Public Eye: The media views Domino as a relatively small time criminal, her antics make for amusing news and people usually don't get seriously hurt by them. They are not aware of her actual powers, thinking instead that she simply has enhanced speed and strength, and is rather skilled with a length of rope, among her other tools.

THENAUT131 IS BACK IN THE ROLEPLAYING SCENE BITCHES

Ahem, I mean, this should be fun.

(ignore typos...those won't happen in the game, trust me)

Name: Terry Chrysler

Gender: Male

Age:22

Appearance:4'7, dark skinned male with a lanky torso. Tends to have a boxed haircut and has haze eyes above a skinny nose. With his prosthetic legs, he's 5'10.

Personality: Terry is probably one of the happiest, most encouraging people you'll ever meet. Terry learned at a young age, thanks to his parents, that life's too short to spend festering on what you can't do and what you might not be able to do and that all you go is give it a go and work with what yo have. Very little personally bother Terry, tho people who believe his disability is slowing him down tend to get on his nerves. However, he easily let's it go and moves on with his day. The only things that really get under his skin are unnecessary acts of rudeness towards people around him.

Skills: Terry enjoys playing the violin and has been studying to be a licensed paramedic. He's majoring in biomedical engineering and is currently employed with a German prosthetic manufacturer, so he has a useful understanding of machinery and certain designing skills. At a young age, his father had him take classes on self defense from a wheel chair. With his new prosthetic legs,, he's taking up kick boxing to keep in shape.

Weaknesses: Terry can sometimes be too forgiving, and finds himself being stepped on before he can say anything about it. Sometimes Terry's disability does bring him down, especially if he's somehow found himself in a position where he feels as if he's failed someone else

Bio: Terry's family moved to Neutropolis when he was about 5 years old. Life was relatively simple for him, and aside from certain bullies at school, his disability was just a part of life. Terry's parents always wanted him to do his best and supported him like any good set of parents should. Though they always worked seemed to work late, and they made about as much money as a part-time security guard and supermarket cashier could, one of them always managed to be home for him and his brother. Sure, Neutropolis had it's fair share of heroes, but Terry always looked up to his parents.

Though, he had to admit, most of they cybernetic superheros were pretty cool.

Terry saw himself as a different, but average person for most of his life. Though there were moments in his life, where he noticed he was slight different. He could sometimes hear things his classmates couldn't, but he figured he just had good ears, like his dad. But there was that time in the third grade where, during a game of four square, the ball flew over a fence and Terry volunteered to get it. Terry quickly hopped out of his wheel chair, hobbled over to the wall, then hopped over the fence and back again...a 7 foot tall fence. Terry didn't question it, it was just one of those things that happened.

So on his 18th birthday, he was surprised to receive an emergency call from his parents rather than a calm and happy one. He rushed down to the house and into the living room. His parents were waiting for him. They grinned.

And then the floor opened up, revealing a massive lair of sorts, with two costumes hanging on the wall.

The Magnificent Mr. Mockingjay and the Daring Dame Dashhopper, were his parents.

Alignment: Lawful Good

Alias: The Crick, Kid Cricket, The Harmonic Hopper

Alter Ego Appearance: A green outer mechanical exoskeleton covered in armored platting with yellow stripes running along the edges. His helmet resembles that of a cricket's head with fiber glass view lenses. A domed power pack rest on his back, acting as the main power unit for his suit. The hands and feet slightly resemble those of an insect tho act more as mechanized claws.

Origin of Powers:Terry inherited his powers from his parents, mostly gaining his mothers agility in leaping, her father's hearing, and their light bone frames. The rest of Terry's powers come from his suit.

Terry's exosuit is what he spent the first year developing after learning he had superpowers. It has developed over the years, becoming slightly more advanced with the knowledge he gains in the biomedical/mechanical field and with his own experiences.

Though gaining their agility, hearing, and bone structures, Terry lacked his mother's full hitting power and his father's sonic abilities. To help him get past his own limitations he developed the exosuit to compensate and even enhance his own abilities.

Description of Powers:The exosuit's strength is mainly used for heavy lifting and cutting threw debris, such as mangled car wrecks or collapses bridges. They can be used offensively, combating physically stronger enemies and augmenting Terry's already present and developing strength.

The suit augments Terry's jumping, adding a joint and lets specifically designed for elevation, slightly resembling those of a bipedal grasshopper or cricket. He can jump a total of 25 feet at max height, 15 without the suit fully powered.

Terry can easily adapt his suit for different situations, and has also developed a number of non-lethal tools to combat enemies and subdue them safely as well as tools to assist him.

-a low power deploy-able stun batons in both arms

-"fiddlers" or palm sized rotating disc drones that circle around a target playing a supersonic soundbyte of a cricket causing disorientation

-fire suppression gel

-night vision in his helmet

-defibrillators

- a variety of handcuffs

And finally, he has his father's enhanced hearing, allowing him to hear things such as breathing, the beating of a bomb, weak voices of the injured, the ticking of a bomb, a criminals plans from a reasonable distance, and the sound of guns about to be fired.

Weaknesses of Powers:His exosuit is still a piece of machinery. It can be damaged, re-programmed, or simply run out of power. He can also run out of certain materials, such as fiddlers or fire suppression gel.

Terry has found that he and his mother can easily break out of shackles and that they can jump pretty high if cuffed, but if fully restrained, they lack the forward momentum or just general strength to escape (depending on the restraints.)

Terry's hearing, as well as his fathers, are susceptible to damage and pain inflicted upon themselves by really high frequencies. Unlike his father, who can manipulate soundwaves and frequencies, Terry is at the mercy of an assault.

Role in the Media and Public Eye: Terry is scene as a super cop in the media, to the point where actual cops are slightly annoyed with him. However, his marketability and his visible accordance with the law and work in relief efforts (as well as the occasional surprise school assembly) makes him easily likable to most of the public, as well as his blatant connection to a former hero such as Dashhopper.

Edit: fixed it...and by fixed I mean, re-did the entire thing.

Here's my villain sheet, it's the evil twin! (seriously.)

Name: Tim Merridy

Gender: Male

Age: 24

Appearance: He's almost completely identical to Tom Braider, the two of them being twins given to different foster families. He's 5'10", slightly less chubby than the other, and has a bit longer hair, but his hair and eye color is the same. He wears bright colors most of the time, and wears casual clothes, t-shirts and jeans.

Personality: Tim's a reasonably happy individual, easily excited and friendly. He enjoys spending time with people, enjoy life, and is easy to like in the beginning. However, a rather strong trait of his is mischievousness, and he is very likely to pull pranks, and make people annoyed with that, caring more about how fun it is. This has cost him a lot of friends, although he does still have some friends left, who he does value. He's a fan of comic books, especially comic book villains, but he very much prefers movies, being an avid movie fan to the point of studying to become an actor. When he's acting in persona for "Lord Magnificent" he will act very over the top, although, truth is, he does that a lot in his personal life too. He's also very stubborn, and doesn't do anything if he doesn't want to, or if it isn't completely necessary, which is often based on fairly selfish reasons.

Skills: Tim is studying in uni part-time to become an actor, and even though he mostly seems like an over the top villain, he does possess the skill to fool most people, should the need arise. He's good with traps and devises, having used them a lot to pull pranks in the past, and he's better than the average with plans. From both interacting with people, and seeing their reactions to various things, Tim is also good with people, especially reading them, even though he won't always be able to connect things before it's too late. His knowledge of movies is also rather decent, but chances are, that won't help him much. He can cook decently, due to the amount of times he has had to do that in his childhood. He works part-time in a movie-theater, but apart from cleaning, that doesn't add any sort of skills.

Weaknesses: Tim is rather easily distracted, especially by things that seems like it would be more fun torn apart. He's also scared of seeing his own blood, and more importantly, afraid of being revealed as "Lord Magnificent" as this would pretty much ruin his personal life, and cause people to avoid him on a regular basis. He's not the most intelligent, but he tries to make up for it with knowing how to deal with people. However, sometimes that's just not enough.

Bio: Tim had a naturally normal life with kind although somewhat absent foster parents, and no need to worry about money or sharing space with siblings. He's lived pretty much all of his life in another state. As his parents were often working late, he started getting interested in movies at a young age, often watching them from his parents left, till they returned, especially on rainy days. When he wasn't inside, he spent the time playing with the neighbor kids, or talking about movies with pretty much random strangers. His eating habits also manifested back then, due to being left alone a lot in a house, and choose what you'd like to eat, which was usually unhealthy food.

It became obvious that he has a mischievous side to him in 4th grade, when he tricked the teacher into drinking coffee with a lot of salt in it. His pranks only continued after that, and while he was reasonable good at becoming friends with whoever he met, they would soon lose their interest in him, deciding that the somewhat malicious pranks weren't worth it. By a miracle, he managed to finish upper secondary school without getting expelled, and managed to get into the university, soon deciding that drama and movies was his sort of thing, and hoping to become an actor in the future.

It wasn't until a few years ago his powers surfaced, and he knew what he wanted to do with them from the very moment they did. Soon after, he started experimenting with it, using them to aid him in pranks, and when he realized the goo could cover his face, he started planning grander stuff. From there on, he pledged to wreak havoc in any way possible -obviously, this pledge was to himself- and then introduced himself very loudly to the whole town, wearing the goo as a full-body armor, with as many spikes as could possibly fit on it. Although he became dangerously close to getting revealed -by a coincidence, no less- he's been able to keep it under wrap for this long.

At the start of the RP he's just arrived in Neutropolis, taking a month off from his studies so that he can gain more status as a villain. He has never met Tom Braider, and he's not aware of that he has a twin.

Alignment: Chaotic Neutral usually, goes to Chaotic Evil when he gets too worked up and into his role.

Alias: Lord Magnificent, which is what he usually intimidates the media into writing too. When he's not around, it's usually Sticky Spikes, a name that he'll get pretty annoyed if he is referred to as.

Alter Ego Appearance: His appearance will normally be an ink black, full-body armor making him at least 6'5" feet, with as many spikes as he can. However, as the goo can take a lot of shapes, this tends to change in battle.

Origin of Powers: Government experiment, he doesn't know about this, though. Personally, Tim kind of believes that there is something... off with the world, as if it were a movie. He's becoming increasingly sure this is the case.

Description of Powers: His powers are mostly the same as Tom's, a goo-like mass that can change from almost liquid or rubbery to dense. However, he's less capable of making huge amounts of goo than Tom is, and more capable of making intricate and somewhat thinner creations, often using this in order to create pointy ends and awesome details.

Weaknesses of Powers: (Everything is the same as IFS, hence:) "Using his power leaves him very hungry, the more goo he creates the hungrier he ends up, and while he hasn't experimented much this does leave an upper limit for how much goo he could create. The goo exudes from all over his body, so he cannot selectively use it to create an appendage on one part of him, and it decays into nothing but a bad smell very quickly after being detached from the main blob, or when he is finished with it. Finally while the goo is very good at protecting against most damage fire causes it to break apart, forcing him to exude more to maintain his mass."

Role in the Media and Public Eye: Lord Magnificent is nothing if not an over the top villain who makes references to movies and other villains. It's all about the role, and he definitely likes making a show. He doesn't aim to kill anyone, though, only cause chaos and wreck havoc. Because it is fun. Should he kill someone, he'd be rather upset.

Looks pretty good for the most part, you do need to specify what kinds of weapons he has though, as just saying weapons leaves a lot of things available.

Also looks pretty good, I am curious what the limit on how much matter he can absorb is, and how large/powerful he could become as a result. Another thing is that you seem to have just put morality stuff under Alias, when its supposed to be more of the superhero identity, that is unless you intend for his superhero identity to be 'Anti-hero' :p.

The main problems with this sheet are that it doesn't really fit the lighthearted tone we're going for, especially with the assassinating and murder. Additionally it strikes me as rather strange that you would list him as being lawful good, while also saying that he murders his enemies. As it stands I don't really see this sheet getting accepted, as it doesn't fit the intended tone of the RP.

I was gonna say he maxes out somewhere around the volume of a person (probably a little more than that so there can be a variety of weapons made.)

yeah... I misread that... I saw "Hero/Villain" and thought you wanted the kind of character it was. I'll fix the character shortly.

Side Note: expect a villain in the near future.

Yeeeeaaa, about that, I literally realized this a few minutes ago, after re-reading the OP and was trying to change it before anyone noticed.

Fixing it as we speak sorry

Name: Rias Michelle DeDannan

Gender: female

Age: 20

Appearance: She stands 6 foot 1 inch, she has lightly tanned skin and long red hair she keeps ether in a pony tail or braid and bright green eyes. Being a dancer she is in excellent shape and is very pretty.

She generally wears a zip up black leather vest under a white hooded trench coat, which has 'fire' embroidering, the sleeves from the cuff to the elbow as well as the coat tail having been worked to have the flames fade from black to white. Below the vest, which leaves her mid rift exposed, she wears tight black pants and black cowgirl boots as well as fingerless gloves on her hands. Around her waist hang two belts, one, black leather, hangs to the left side, the other, white leather, crafted to match her coat, helps hold her pants up. The metal clasps on her coat, boots, metal studs on the knuckles of her gloves, and belts, are all gold painted.

Personality: she is of average temperament, though prone to arrogance, but curious about the world around her, and eager to learn all she can about her chosen profession. She tends to dislike big city's, but that mostly due to how hard they can be to navigate. Despite her own powers she see little need to use them for the 'greater good'. Partly because she believes in the phrase 'violence breeds violence' and partly cause how destructive her powers can be if they get away from her.

Skills: She is and aspiring singer, she can both dance and play guitar, though has problems writing her own songs, and has dabbled in acting, but is kinda terrible at it.

Weaknesses: While not stupid, she's not always quick to pick up when some one is lieing or trying to manipulate her into do doing something she would do normally. This is due to her not being around those kinda of people till recently.

Bio: Rias was born to Michel and Angela DeDannan and would be an heir to the DeDannan fortune if her father dad hadn't chose her mother Angela over the daughter of another wealthy family, however her father was for all intent and purpose disowned in the ensuing argument over what he should do with his life and his responsibility to his family and the DeDannan name.

Michel, with really only Angela by his side, took what little money they had and moved to a small town in Washington State and opened a small shop specializing in hand made furniture, wood working having been a hobby Michel had taken up when he was small. This was the world Rias came into, the daughter of a 'mom an pop' shop keep, and a reasonably successful one at that or least successful enough that Michel doesn't need to do all the work him self any more.

Rias's upbringing was pretty standard, she went to school, had friends and enemy's and did ok as far as her grades went, and didn't really keep secrets. Save one. At around six her powers started to show them selves and outside her parents, she didn't tell anyone she had them out of fear of rejection, but mostly because she had no real use for her powers. As she grew she discovered her talent for singing, and decided she would make a run at a singing career, and it was because of this she started experimenting with her powers to help her performances when the song called for it.

The revaluation she had powers cost her friends, naturally, some came back, some didn't, what she found more annoying where the people telling her she should go 'super hero', like that was her only option now. She finished High school with minimal hassle after she 'came out', turns out when you can form objects out of thin air people tend to not wanna harass you to much, even if she had no real desire to harm them. She still caught hell now and then but it was less then some of the others. After High school she spent some time working the competitive scene, to perfect her chosen craft of singing and dancing, and playing guitar when the song calls for it.

Alignment: neutral/good; she's over all a good person but wants to stay out of the fighting

Alias: she doesn't have one.

Origin of Powers: Born with them.

Description of Powers: Energy Particle Conversion and Manipulation;

Rias can manipulate and control energy, both in her own body and in the air around her, electrical fields radiating off power lines or open flames, to create solid objects she and others can interact with. Weight of the object depends on the mount of energy used and what the object is meant to do, however the weight she can still lift with her power, and thus still use caps at 200LB, any higher and it start costing more energy then its worth, (Her absolute max is 2000LB) So she can very easily create floating objects, as well as move them with her mind via the same process that she creates them, for free floating platforms she found the load limit is the same, so she can't keep anything weighting more the 200LB in the air. Lastly, she can also sense external sources of energy she can tap into to fuel her powers.

Weaknesses of Powers:
While she can tap into, and use external energy sources to fuel her powers, if cut off from these sources she loses almost all her combative ability as she rely heavily on the world around her to fuel her powers.

While it seems she's limited only by her imagination, she is actual limited by her understanding. For instance, she can grant her self fully functional wings, but can't make a working gun, because she understands how the physics of 'wings' work, but not guns due to not understanding its physics. So her constructs tend to be very simple mechanically, with the most complex thing she can make being the aforementioned wings, and a bicycle, everything else tends to be more along the lines of medieval technology in terms of mechanical complexity.

Role in the Media and Public Eye: Unknown out side her home town and even there she is not really note worthy.

...and my villain.

Name: Mina Fukao, President and C.E.O. of the Fukao Monetary Group

Gender: Female

Age: 32

Appearance: Fukao is a tall woman of Japanese origin. Her hair is long. She has a smile that promises you the world but there is also a sharpness to her eyes which betrays the fact there's going to be a heavy cost. She wears only the best business suits when working, but often wears more traditional Japanese wear when she's not. Despite her wealth, she has little in the way of expensive accessories.

Personality: Mina is a hardened woman. She has a "take no prisoners" approach to both life and business. She's ruthlessly efficient in her actions. Despite this, she does a lot of good works (funding all sorts of community activities) and gives generously to most every charity and good cause that comes her way. She thinks of herself as a good person who does some evil in pursuit of the greater good. She believes she does more good than ill though the truth is remarkably less certain.

Skills: In addition to her powers, Mina has several abilities. First and foremost, she's as quick as a whip. Few normal people can match her in quick wits and the ability to predict the outcomes of actions. She's extraordinarily skilled at management, keeping track of things going on, and monetary figures. She's an impressive people person, able to earn the trust of nearly anyone she speaks with. While not technically a skill, Mina has access to enormous amounts of liquid capital and has a hand in thousands of businesses around the world ranging from high-tech to food manufacturers.

Weaknesses: no specific weaknesses, though when not transformed she's physically a normal human and her mystical abilities are extremely limited

Bio: Mina grew up in Tokyo, Japan. For most of her young life, she as a simple, normal girl. She wasn't popular or unpopular, she wasn't rich or poor, she wasn't remarkably good or bad at anything. This all changed when on her 12th birthday, she ran into an oddly shaped fox being chased by what appeared to be a ghost. Acting on instinct, she saved the fox by grabbing it and running to the nearest train station. On the train, the fox introduced itself as Kitsu, thanking her for the help. Warning her that the spirit would return, it offered to give her power in return from helping him stop the spirit and its brethren. Kitsu offered her a wish in return but Mina turned it down saying "I'll make my wish at the end." Truth told, Mina just wanted to be special and becoming a "mahou shoujo" was more than enough. Mina agreed and the deal was struck.

For 6 years she used her magic to travel the world, cleansing spirits of the evil inside them. With each cleansing, her powers grew until she was one of the most powerful mages in the world. Then, after finding and cleansing the powerful soul who'd been corrupting the other spirits, her battle was over. She'd made friends and allies and even found love. And then it was all over. She still had her powers, but one by one her friends and allies left in search of the rest of their lives. She broke up with her boyfriend when she caught him cheating on her. For all her mystical powers, her world was falling apart. Before long, all she had left were her powers, Kitsu, and the single wish she'd never used.

For all those years, she'd remembered the wish but never used it; since she'd never wanted it in the first place. Now however, she had a need. The wish could change the world and bring her life back to what it should be. It could do so much good. she thought long and hard over how she could use the wish to bring back her friends, find love, and help the world. She thought for hours at a time, losing everything she had left, down to the roof over her head. Finally, she knew what she needed to help the world. One cold, rainy morning she turned to Kitsu and said "I wish for 100 Billion Yen".

Kitsu was shocked by the sudden wish, but nodded and granted the wish. A lottery ticket appeared in her hand. 24 hours later, she was extremely wealthy. Using her powers and the money, she quickly built a financial empire. For a time, all was good. The money she got funded good project after another, saving and helping lives of thousands at a time. She was able to hire her friends to her new company or companies she'd invested in and give them positions with which they could do good. Each day was a blessing.

Unfortunately, it could not last. Other groups tried to use their money and influence to buy her out and end her good deeds. Using her magic, she fought them back at every turn. One by one they fell to her powers and money; each time she bought them out and used their money for more good. However, soon the money wasn't enough to fund every project she wanted. So, she began investing in projects with "less-than-ethical" goals to gather the capital to fund her true desires. At first it was only one project, then two, than dozens. Before long she'd invested more money in questionable projects than her real goals.

All the while, Kitsu watched with growing concern.

After several years, Kitsu approached her. He said that he needed to leave this world and return to his job as a guardian of the afterlife - a lie. Mina however could see her old friend's lie in a moment. Words came; angry words. Than came screaming. Before long she was using her magic to try and stop him; after all he was a part of the life she wanted to reclaim. In her anger however, Kitsu died.

She and her friends buried him; then said friends left her again. She wondered why they couldn't see it was an accident. See how much good she was doing. See that their life was better together. Without a wish to rely on, she continued gathering capital and resources, looking for souls to cleanse to gain power, hoping to bring back Kitsu and change her fate. She's been at it for years.

Her arrival in Neutropolis is to expand her economic empire and "do some good".

Alignment: Lawful Evil Villain (though she views herself as Lawful Good and always believes she's acting "for the greater good", her actions are often brutal, merciless, and in service to her own success/business control)

Alias: Witch-Girl

Alter Ego Appearance: When in her alter-ego, Mina takes the form of her 12 year-old self (though she retains her adult memory/personality). Her hair is still long and black, but its done up in a pair of pigtails off the side of her head. Her outfit becomes something of a white and pink shirt/skirt. She has a magic scythe which she can ride (like a witch's broom) and use to cast her spells

Origin of Powers: Her powers are inherent within her, but they were unlocked by a little stuffed-animal looking fox named Kitsu (deceased).

Description of Powers: When Mina was a kid, she was selected by Kitsu to find and cleanse the souls of people who died with regrets to allow them to move on to the appropriate afterlife. For each soul she cleaned, she gained the ability to call on a spell to do her job better. Each spell was connected back to the person she cleansed. She has literally thousands of spells. Most of these spells are extremely limited and all but useless, but the several of her spells are quite powerful. These impressive spells are as follows:

1) Scythe Fencing: Mina found and cleansed the soul of Paulus Hector Mair, granting her the ability to use a scythe as a master. This was her first spell and transformed her staff into a scythe

2) Flight: Mina found and cleansed the regrets of Amelia Earhart, granting her the ability to fly.

3) Explosion: Mina found and cleansed the soul of Julius Rosenberg, granting her the power to create a massive explosion (about a 20ft radius maximum)

4) Defensive Wall: Mina found and cleansed the soul of Qin Shi Huang, granting her the ability to create a mighty wall of force

5) Divination: Mina found an cleansed the soul of Nostradamus, granting her the ability to scry on others at a great distance. She must have an idea of what the target looks like and its relative location to use this power.

Weaknesses of Powers: Without her scythe, she cannot use her powers. That said, she keeps a close hand on it and can summon it to her. In addition, she can only use one spell at a time, eliminating her ability to use her magic in a synergistic manner.

Role in the Media and Public Eye: Due to her significant influence in many companies (including news organizations) the public is largely unaware of her. However, with the rise of blogging and social media, this has begun to change. Because she's been active as a hero in the past, the public who's aware of her existence is largely undecided about her.

Name: Doctor Vinzenz Schwertner
Gender: Male
Age: 24

Appearance: Stands at 5'9" when upright and has a narrow frame. Pale complexion with medium, untidy black hair and scraggly facial hair. Most notable features are his bright green eyes along with the scars and burn marks that cover his arms almost entirely. He wears a white dress shirt underneath a brown vest with slacks and leather shoes to match. Around his neck usually rests a pair of goggles on a leather strap that he wears when he's working.

Personality: Overly confident in his abilities, and not without reason.Having been previously mocked for his studies and finally having the opportunity to show that it wasn't all nonsense, he's eager to show the world just what his research is capable of producing. He puts his research above all else, including his own life which makes him unafraid to test the very limits of his work. At times, very unstable and quick to change. A man of science through and through and believes there's a logical explanation for everything.

Skills: The study and application of mechanical, electrical, and chemical engineering. Is a formidable pioneer in extra-dimensional studies and turning it into an applied science.

Weaknesses: Due to the accident, Vinzenz is a self-diagnosed schizophrenic. Often compelled by voices, one of which he is certain is no part of him, he finds himself question everything he does which has made him prone to halt his own work.

Bio: Born in Munich on January 18th of 1922, Vinzenz grew up an only child in a stable, wealthy family. When he went to school, he always seemed eager to learn something new and was ready for anything. His family had payed for private schooling and John was the top of his class all throughout and graduated early with high honors. As proud as his parents were, they were happy to pay Vinzenz's way through university. Leipzig was his university of choice and he studied Physics, Chemical Engineering, Materials Science, Metallurgy, all things relative; graduating at the age of 19 with the highest honors. During the last year of his time in university, the early days of WWII, Vinzenz's achievements caught the eyes of a few key members of the Reich and were very interested in putting him to work. Although Vinzenz didn't agree with much of what they were responsible for, he was too smart to believe that they wouldn't find ways to convince him if he turned them down. He focused on the positive side of the situation, the fact that he would have the opportunity to explore theories of his own with all the funding he could want. That it would be the start of something spectacular.

Vinzenz set out to establish his own laboratory in which he would keep expanding his horizons and push science to its limits, this was his primary request. He wanted no interference from the government no one prying where they needn't pry. Over the next couple of years of isolation and alienating his family, he became obsessed with a theory he had about inter-dimensional travel. Believing he could find a way to travel into other planes of existence, he set out to create a gateway that would make such a thing possible. As fate would have it, he succeeded. However, his youth and ambition kept him from doing proper testing and he immediately planned to use it on himself--if anyone was going to set foot onto a new world, it would be him. Of this, there was no convincing him otherwise.

The machine was ready, Vinzenz was eager, and although his assistants were skeptical, they had no choice but to proceed. With a flip of a switch, the device came alive. A loud hum filled the room and in moments, a crack like that of a bullwhip echoed through the lab as a glowing speck appeared in the middle of the gateway. The humming waxed and waned intermittently as the grew and grew. There eerie glow became more colorful, looking like a distorted stained glass window. It was like trying to look at a reflection in a rippling pool. Even though the glowing pane of mysterious matter expanded, it hadn't become any clearer to look through. Finally, after some time, when the humming was at its loudest, the edges of the glowing circle came into contact with the gateway and the view had become clear. The window had turned into a doorway, and the moment it was opened, everything in the laboratory that wasn't secured was immediately pulled in. Little tools and pieces of equipment were the first to go, but the gateway's force rapidly grew in power. Vinzenz and his assistants, no matter how tightly they held onto what was bolted down, were flung into the unknown, followed pieces of the very building itself. Finally, the power box was ripped from the foundation and the gateway rippled again. There was a load groan as the metal structure began to give way, unable to hold the strain of holding the door open. Then, with a thunderous boom, the gateway had collapsed in on itself and what was left of the building became still.

It wouldn't be until many years later that, miraculously, during a lightning storm that somewhere on the other side of the world, in an abandoned warehouse, that the gate would open once more. Vinzenz spilled onto the floor along with various bits of scrap metal and the battered components of the gateway. Before the man could draw his first breath of his world he'd had in a long while, the gate closed again now that the surge of electrical energy had passed. The man was seemingly unchanged, save for having the appearance of a man who'd gone a few days without rest. He couldn't explain it, and wasn't entirely certain he'd ever be able to, but he would later find out that he had become ageless. It could only be a result of whatever happened on the other side of the gateway, although any recollection of that world evidently remained behind that cosmic threshold. All he knew at that moment was that he couldn't stop now, not ever. He needed to create a more stable, more permanent doorway. It would just be a matter of time, which he professedly had more than enough of.

Alignment: Chaotic Neutral

Alias: The Mad Doctor

Alter Ego Appearance: Not much different than his actual appearance, which suits him seeing as he lives a life of relative seclusion.

Origin of Powers: Simply put, his genius. Alongside his own secret laboratory that, since its relocation, is workable but hardly ideal for what he intends to accomplish.

Description of Powers: The various gadgets he can create when he has the mindset and materials. One of which is rather limited for the time being.

Weaknesses of Powers: Apart from not aging, he is physically no different than most humans. His body is just as susceptible to injury as the average person and must rely on quick thinking and ingenuity to keep him from harm.

Role in the Media and Public Eye: Simply mad. Most fail to see him for the visionary that he is while those that do claim it to be delusion that drives him rather than ambition.

Ahem, I mean, this should be fun.

(ignore typos...those won't happen in the game, trust me)

Edit: fixed it...and by fixed I mean, re-did the entire thing.
Heh, none of us can see any problems with your sheet, so I don't have much to say apart from that it's good.

It's a nice sheet, and, rather than critique, what I have is questions. Firstly: is she only capable of lifting her own creations? Or can she make anything float?

And secondly; By getting energy from sources around her, would that include people's bioelectric field? That'd be rather problematic, after all.

Overall it's a good sheet, but could you define the scrying a bit better? It is a bit worrisome to have a character who can listen in on people and perceive their public/non powered identity, to be honest.

Mortis Nuncius said:

Good, good, let the science--- anyways. Sheet's good and all that, some questions, though. Just how secluded is he? Will it still be possible to interact with him outside someone's evil/good plots? Also, what are his preferred gadgets, and just how limited are his supplies?

Finally, for everyone: If people want to, they can set up connections between their characters either socially or as a power user. This means rivalries, friendships, the evil league of evil, or whatever people feel like. Please note that some -mostly my character, Tim, I suppose, and possibly a certain scientist- won't be able to have much of a connection due to not having lived there/just arrived/so on. It would make interaction easier for you, and add dimension to a character's role in the RP.

*Knows that I won't be able to do that cuz almost everyone is a decade younger than my only available character ): *

Alrighty, clarified what his weapons are in his Alter Ego appearance.

On his right leg he keeps a holster for his .45 caliber pistol that he's named "Lady Catherine". He took the pistol from his father's extensive firearms collection along with the brass knuckles. On either hands he carries brass knuckles that he uses to bludgeon his victims or when he wants things to get personal. In one of his pockets he also carries a tazer in case he wants to incapacitate someone.

Surprise and speed are his main weapons along with actual weapons like his pistol and brass knuckles.

Also while I'm here let me show you my villain character.

Name: Stefan Devaux

Gender: Male

Age: 41

Appearance: A handsome man despite his age with a triangular face with sharp cheekbones and a delicate-looking jaw. A trimmed beard covers his face with flecks of white on his beard and hair. He has brown skin and pitch-black hair but a great complexion. His most memorable features(and the first thing you see) are his ruby eyes. His irises are an eye-catching color of red that almost reflects light when shone in his eyes. The man is also as fit as 40 year-old man can be and prefers to wear things that cover his arms along with wearing sunglasses to conceal his identity although he also uses different colored contacts when sunglasses don't work. He favors brown colored contacts so his ruby eyes aren't so obvious. Stefan stands at an average 5'8 with a medium-sized frame.

Personality: Stefan is a charming man that carries an allure of a man who's seen and done it all. He's willing to use his charm and good looks to get the things he wants when he wants it but he's a patient man. He's a professional at heart and strives to get the job done sometimes making drastic decisions in the process. Over time he has been experiencing an urge to obtain wealth as soon as possible and gold calms him down. He's also a wanderer as he is searching for his true identity as the curse not only took his wealth but his name as well. He remembers his past but he just can't remember his name which has driven him a bit frustrated to say the least. Stefan has tried to learn his name before but the next day he forgets it so he stuck to Stefan out of convenience.

Skills: Stefan is a smooth talker and a jack of all trades. Since he's a professional soldier he is versed with a wide variety of firearms and fighting techniques. He knows how to survive in a jungle for some period of time given his experience in the Congo. Stefan speaks several languages fluently which range from German to English and even some Congolese.

Weaknesses: He is vain and selfish to the point where he's willing to break his contract if he sees a better opportunity to earn more. He truly loves no one but himself and Stefan is cursed with a thirst for wealth that he follows no matter who gets in his way. Stefan is easily lured to wealth as he is women.

Bio: Stefan was born and raised up in Cannes, France. He is the son of a soldier and a nurse but his father was always the man that nurtured Stefan's wounds. When he skinned his knee trying to ride his bike, his father was there. When he graduated from school, his father was there. When his mother left his father for another man, his father was there. The only person Stefan wanted to be was his father but sometimes his father didn't quite like that. His father served in the French foreign legion and was a well decorated soldier so Stefan set out to be just that. Still, the scar of his mother's departure left a scar in him that didn't heal right no matter what his father did.

When the time came, he took the first opportunity to join the Legion at first light. His father didn't quite approve but he supported what his son did through and through no matter what it would be. Stefan spend a long time in the Legion and worked his way up the ranks. When Stefan was deployed in Africa with the rest of his regiment, he had orders to secure a hostile village in the Congo.

On the way to the village, his platoon was ambushed and Stefan escaped into the jungle amid the confusion. Stefan was stranded in the jungle for a few days and lived off of what he could as he tried to find the way out. During his search, he happened upon a lost temple covered in vine. He hacked his way into the temple to escape an impending storm. Inside he saw riches beyond imagination. The entire temple was filled with diamonds and gems as far as the eye can see but little did Stefan know, it was all cursed.

Stefan grabbed some water from a nearby pond and stuffed all the loot he could before he left. But as soon as Stefan left the temple's perimeter the diamonds and gems started to melt into his skin. It fused and hardened Stefan's hands. His skin retained the hardness of diamond but all the gems mixed together made it so that it had a sickly red color.

The temple and all its wonders melted back into the jungle as Stefan desperately tried to find it but to no avail. He made it out of the jungle with his new powers honed and set his eyes on the world so he too might make his own temple filled with diamonds. So after his service in the Legion he became a mercenary and fought in conflicts all around the globe under his alias. Stefan made quite the name for himself but the truth of the matter is that when he left the temple he also left behind his true name. His true name is completely lost to him and he only choose Stefan which was a dead comrade's name. Even if his name were in front of him, Stefan would not understand it.

Time has past since his newly given powers and in that time, the diamond skin structure has made its way up his arms and shoulders. Now he is Neutropolis in search of a new client or make a few business ventures to expand his wallets to see that temple once more.

Alignment: Neutral Evil

Alias: Blood Diamond

Alter Ego Appearance: He wears a black cloak with combat gear so it looks like he is just a regular mercenary but on the back of his cloak is a maroon diamond emblazoned on the back. His cloak is sleeveless to allow maximum use of his diamond arms without ripping his dear cloak. His arms themselves are a dark red, resembling maroon but on a glossy surface. They aren't as shiny as their reflective counterparts but it still is distinguishable that it is diamond.

Origin of Powers: An ancient curse but he's seen ways to benefit from it.

Description of Powers: Stefan's diamond arms have given him superhuman hardiness and the ability to morph his arm into various shapes. He can form a shield made of diamond to stop attacks and form swords or knives. Diamond is notoriously hard to destroy and that carries onto Stefan's powers. When he uses his shield he is immune to bullets and fire. Usually he has one arm assume a sword shape and the other a shield shape for maximum effectiveness. A helpful side-effect of Stefan's diamond powers is that if any of his diamonds chip then it is still a diamond and worth a lot of money. In the rare occasions that his shield breaks, he simply picks up the broken pieces and sells them for a large sum.

Weaknesses of Powers: His torso, head and legs are still vulnerable to attack. His diamond shield and sword are rather heavy so his swings aren't that fast. Not only that but the more he uses his powers, the more the diamond spreads on his body. A part of his sanity also gets chipped away the more he uses his powers. Diamond is the only thing that can destroy his shield easily and it can do so rather quickly. The breaking and shattering of his diamond limbs are extremely painful to him.

Role in the Media and Public Eye: Stefan tries to stay away from the media as much as he can but when words of his "jobs" do escape to the media it is not that positive. He's been involved in several missions and private military companies that are considered to be controversial but there hasn't been any evidence pinning it on one person entirely. Still, what word does escape the media describe him as a dangerous mercenary.
As always I'm open to any suggestions or criticisms.

It's a nice sheet, and, rather than critique, what I have is questions. Firstly: is she only capable of lifting her own creations? Or can she make anything float?
Only if one of her constructs is attached in some way, and then 200LB weight limit does still apply unless she got a bunch of em piled onto one thing to lift it, but thats a huge pain in the ass and a pretty big drain and that's what forklifts are for.

And secondly; By getting energy from sources around her, would that include people's bio-electric field? That'd be rather problematic, after all.
Yes and no. Yes it's in the realm of something she could do, but at the same time a resounding 'NO!!'. First of all it's something she's never done, so she's both not 'trained' to see bio-electrics as a 'fuel source', and because of that, she has no idea to pull energy from a living being. Secondly, and most important of all, she as of the potential start of this RP has not hurt any one with her powers, and while I'm not biologist, pretty sure ripping the electrical field out of a living thing would out right kill it, so, it's not something she'd even want to attempt let alone something that's crossed her mind.

so again, no, she can not steal energy from a living being, just fires and machines and power lines and stuff.

Hm, okay, fair enough. Would a certain specter also be counted among that, if only for gameplay purposes (aka, that your character doesn't num num on my character for the purpose of power)?

I might give this a try, though I need some time to figure out the details... stay tuned, I guess.

Overall it's a good sheet, but could you define the scrying a bit better? It is a bit worrisome to have a character who can listen in on people and perceive their public/non powered identity, to be honest.
Okay; I edited the sheet so that she needs to know what the person looks like and their approximate location to scry. Now she can't scry on people's secret identities (unless she discovers them of course) and even then she needs to know where to look. Should clear up the concerns I hope.

Good, good, let the science--- anyways. Sheet's good and all that, some questions, though. Just how secluded is he? Will it still be possible to interact with him outside someone's evil/good plots? Also, what are his preferred gadgets, and just how limited are his supplies?
Well, not very at the moment. It's an abandoned warehouse (near what I assume is a harbor of some sort (I say "assume" because I'm not entirely sure there is a harbor just yet (there's a harbor, right?))) that really anyone can stumble into, but it could definitely use some work. Also, it's not like the noise wouldn't be noticeable for anyone snooping around. He's also going to be gathering materials, money, and likely people that can help him obtain both.

As for gadgets, he doesn't have any at the moment but I did have an idea for an electric beam weapon I was thinking of naming the Biltzgewehr and something I'm calling a Void Gun that generates a singularity that pulls in matter for a brief period.

His supplies are basically the remnants of his old laboratory, sans assistants of course. I planned on having him start with just enough to wreak a little havoc, get what he needs to begin his work again, then wreak more havoc both intentionally and unintentionally.
