You know, actually thinking about this: this is the first 3D Mario game with co-op in it. This should be awesome. And yet... nothing. It's just there.

I guess it's because when you think of a multiplayer 3D Mario game, you'd imagine it being in a big, sprawling game like Mario 64 or Sunshine, like that fan-made Mario 64 co-op game. And the 2D games having co-op for a few years now probably didn't help.

Baby steps, I suppose.

I've been skipping Mario since Galaxy 2, but I might give this one a look. Kitty Mario had much to do with this decision. Good job Nintendo, that shit markets itself.
