look if you want a game to be beat by a computer for you, then just go on youtube and watch a playthrough of it.
I...don't? That's why I wouldn't be using the Super Guide.

What about if you get to a certain part you're absolutely stuck at and just want to get past that bit? Should you watch the rest of the game from where you're stuck at on Youtube?

The Super Guide is a good thing.

I like the concept of the Super Guide...but at the same time, it defeats the purpose of challenge. Doesn't mean I have to use but, just having the option is tempting.

I liked SMG 1 because it provided a challenge, and If I was stuck I would look up what to do on Youtube. With the AI, the game will truly be for teh childrenz.
Want a challenge? Don't use the Super Guide. It's that simple.

Thank the merciful gods of gaming! I'm absolutely loving this 'Nintendo going back to when games were challenging out the ass' thing. I didn't need (or even unlock) the super guide in NSMBW, and I won't use it even if I do accidentally open it up. That the big N wants to make their games hard again, I'm all for. And if you Really need the super guide's help in finishing the game, maybe you shouldn't be graduated to such complex games yet. Figuring out the stunts, tricks, and compound jumps is what has repeatedly made the 3D Mario titles worth playing. Christ, it's not like we're in it for the story. It's for the Gameplay! So put your man pants on, grow a set, and figure it out! It's like working for a while, building something you love (let's say a car, character, house, etc) with your own abilities, or being that little piece of pond scum that has someone else do it with mummy and daddy's money--so, which do you want to be, self-fulfilled, or a lazy piece of merde?

That's what I thought. And it's not like anyone who goes for the second route can really wear the mantle of 'gamer'--more like 'spectator'.
