Heh, true - Though in the case of DNF, it wasn't that they were polishing and adding to the game, it was that they keep scrapping the engine and starting over as they chased the technology dragon.PhunkyPhazon said:I'm all for developers delaying their games, it just means they're making sure it's as good as possible. Unless we're talking about Duke Nukem Forever, anyways.
It's what I do.Worgen said:oh you bastard, now I see it too and I wont be able to unsee itG1eet said:I still can't get over how disturbingly Rule 34-ish Mario & Yoshi look.
Well, when you think about it, don't all horseback riders look somewhat Rule 34-ish?Worgen said:oh you bastard, now I see it too and I wont be able to unsee itG1eet said:I still can't get over how disturbingly Rule 34-ish Mario & Yoshi look.
Well we know nothing about the true story of the game so I wouldn't say that yet. I don't think your post has any real credibility until the game comes out.Adzma said:I'm going to get flamed for this I just know it, but I'm always up for a challenge.
It still is Super Mario Galaxy 1.5. It really needs an actual story to be considered a true sequel. Look at Majora's Mask, it reused a lot of material already found in Ocarina of Time but with its gameplay enhancements and story it became a whole new experience. In today's age of gaming story plays a massive role, and leaving it out feels somewhat lacking I suppose. From what I've seen of SMG2, it just looks like the first one with a few new powerups and Yoshi thrown at it. Doesn't mean I won't get, I loved SMG, but I wouldn't call it a true sequel.
Well if you recall Shigeru Miyamoto specifically said the SMG2 wouldn't focus on a story. That's what I'm basing my argument around.halo3rulzer said:Well we know nothing about the true story of the game so I wouldn't say that yet.
