Super Mario World is one of the best games of all times.

I do disagree on one point though:

It definetly was a "you had to be there" moment. It blew everything out of the water and was the game that defined SNES gaming for me. Most Mario games come with these moments, Mario 64 actually had a stronger "holy shit!" moment for me, because of the novelty of the 3D.

Nice review, good to see the classics getting some respect.
