So yesterday I bought Super Meat Boy off Steam for £3. What's everyone think of it?
For the price I paid, totally worth it in my own opinion, a challenging game for the price of sandwich, hell yes! (Lets note were talking expensive sandwich's here) The replay value within it is brilliant is it not, so many things to go back upon. So collection of thoughts time I say.

I got the xbla version, but they're pretty much the same besides for the secret characters. I wish that I could play as steve =(. But anyway, yes, I agree, the game is kickass. Although I still can't beat the mother f***ing final boss

I've not played Super Meatboy, but it seems to be a pretty good game... for newgrounds.

It's fucking hard, that's what it is. I got the Steam version (the sale price was too good to pass up), It would probably be a lot easier for me if I could use a game pad.

It's developed a loving nickname among my friends.

Super Rage Cube.

That's pretty much my opinion of it, but it is good though, definitely good for a laugh so long as it's played in small doses.

It's an amazing game. Very simple and precise to play, but very difficult. I'm on the dark levels in Rapture at the moment.

I've been using a game pad. Especially good because my spacebar is squishy.

I first tried it on Ecks Blah, but with the Steam Sale, I couldn't resist getting it for four bucks. only problem for me is the buttons on my pad are "reversed."

In any event, I knew I wanted this game the second I started playing it.

So you haven't played it but you have an opinion of it. NICE!

Seriously though I wouldn't actually say the game is hard just challenging and patience testing. I'm stuck on the final level before the final boss and just can't get the precision on one jump. However ive done all the darkworld levels up to hell. I think its a really fun wellmade and inventive game. Very addictive but it really pisses me off the level of precision you need but thats my fault not the games, actually mostly my laggy pc yeah i'll go for that...

its great, realy realy realy realy hard though :/ im in rapture. but one of my steam friends streamed it once, i watched, he had hooked up his xbox controller to it, he was fucking pwning the game. im serious. he was A+ all light and dark world levels in minutes, and getting bandages. but i told him where some hidden warp zones were :p i just wish they would let you configure your keyboard instead of putting the sprint button all the way over THERE!

My "Game of The Year".

Seriously, it is absolutely flawless. Perfect controls, brilliant level design, and the most kick-ass soundtrack ever.

The PC version's glitches notwithstanding, it's a great game in its own right, I like that nothing is given to you on a silver platter, and it doesn't hurt that you can play as the Minecraft guy and a headcrab.

I haven't played it, but I do have it on my wishlist..
No, SMB is fair. You die in IWBTG to learn how the levels work, where the death is going to come from (the first time an apple falls up you're very likely to die, there's no warning) whereas in SMB you can theoretically complete without any deaths at all. It's just not gonna happen.

Fuck some of the bandages, fuck them right to hell, but some of them already are in hell so that leaves me with a bit of a problem.

I like it.

One of the best games of the year in my opinion. I paid full price for it, and I do not regret it at all.
