So the story so far: During a few SWAT games on Halo: Reach I realized that it brought out the worst in all my friends. They will swear until their voice fades. Then I realized the thing, the game type seems designed to piss off a certian group of people, I.E. ones who can't get headshots. So basically it brought them SUPER RAGE!

Main Question: What makes you and/or your friends rage during a game?

Quick time events. The really long, extended ones. Most of the time I'm not quick enough so then I fail and I have to start all over from the top. It makes me want to throw the console out the window.

Which is why I will never play a game like Heavy Rain which are entirely quick time events.

Hmmm, Team Swat happens to be my best game mode probably because I naturally aim for the head.

OT: Losing. Majority just cant take it when they are losing at anything. It doesn't matter by how bad if they are losing by even one kill or point or whatever its called in the game, they cant stand it.

I can't stand the SWAT game mode, because I have a problem when I play Reach. My aim with the DMR/Needle Rifle is above average, but as soon as I down my opponent's shields, or if they have no shielding, I get psyched out and I can't aim anymore.

OT: Cheap deaths. I can't stand it when something kills you instantly and you have no way of stopping it from happening.

My husband and his younger brother can't possibly play a split-screen shooter together. Either my husband is telling him what to do, or they both get into screenwatching fights and it ends up with me taking away the PS3/360 and sending them to opposite rooms.

.... I'm not exaggerating. It gets to the point where, if they suggest playing games together I point out something on TV or outside or whatever just to distract them. ARGH!

Listening to them bicker sends me into a rage! *twitch*

When they are get realllllly pissy. I'll rage. Like one guy kept whining about how I sucked so bad and couldn't give him support when I'm worring about three guys who want to pick me off in a sniper battle.

CSS is a perpetual rage machine, this is how most games play out: Spawn, spawn sniped, spawn, spawn sniped, spawn,dodge the bullet, get shot by a camper, spawn, get bitched at by a 9-year-old, get team killed by said 9-year-old, spawn, sniped, spawn, knifed, spawn, admin yells at you for cheating because you killed him once, admin slays you, spawn, get shot by an aimbot from across the map by a hacker in noclip that the admin won't ban, and repeat until you quit.

Even thinking about those kind of people makes me want to punch my xbox.

That's why I found a great server. Where the admins are good and the people are funny and not godly amazing.

That's why I said "as soon as I down my opponent's shields, or if they have no shielding."
