superhero roulette: origin stories

I know weve seen loads of these threads but the twist with this one is you need an origin story. You dont need a 500 word essay (although feel free if you want) just a quick intro. They can be a hero or villain

Granted some of these are either gonna be really hard or a bit dull so re rolls are ok

Our hero is a scientist who invents an anesthetic that completely immobilises the body in its current state but the victim remains conscious. There is a break in at his lab and the first thing that he grabs to protect himself is his anesthetic. He realises the potential of this so decides to become a vigilante. He uses it in gas form (smoke grenades) and in the form of a modified tranq gun. He is purely non violent and his aim is merely to incapacitate criminals and because his formula is harmless there is no collateral loss of life

Our hero(es) were born as a bizarre new twist on the conjointed psychic twin. A car crash killed the mother and nearly killed the baby within, but by some miracle it clung to life even as it came out in two separate living portions. The lower portion is barely on the intellectual level of an animal, but is still psychically connected to the thoughts of the upper portion's brain. The upper portion is capable of self-levitation and even flight for around an hour so long as he isn't badly injured.

By the time they were old enough to become a superhero, they were experts at coordinating with each other, but more interestingly the lower portion became very emotional as it grew up while the upper portion became hyperlogical. This leads to them occasionally having quarrels when something tugs on the lower portion's 'heartstrings', though the upper portion tries to keep those private. They have developed a costume that fits with their unique situation so they don't freak out bystanders too much. Together, they are called... Bifurcated Man. Their first act of justice was catching the crime lord whose getaway car caused the car crash that killed their mother. To prevent reprisals, the lower portion was allowed to take all the credit and pose for the pictures alone.
