There's also red-sunlight (and the simulated variety), that makes him normal if you hit him with it. As for Kryptonite, I'm of the (crazy) opinion that he's actually immune but just faking so no one comes up with a better weapon against him.
And the whole Lex Luthor getting cancer thing? Hilarious.

Again, you think a guy that smart would've oh I dunno thought of that too? You know what would have made him REALLY terrifying? If he tested it on other people to see if it could cause cancer.

The problem with Superman is the fact that after The Death of Superman there's nowhere left for the series to go. He conquered death. What else can he do? Solve heat death in the universe?

Well, just because it's harmful to humans doesn't means it has to hurt him. What a great trick, make your enemies gather large amount of carcingenic material.

Yeah I don't really believe he's faking, I just think Superman is better without kryptonite. Focusing more on having strong villains/powerful weapons able to hurt him makes things more exciting.

Yeah. I meant it as, "Superman is a dick." I didn't mean to seem contradictory.

And Superman hasn't always saved everyone. Remember the first film from 1978, where Lois died (then was resurected through time travel)? It showed that he isn't completely perfect and not all powerful.
Except for the fact that, you know, dude turned back time to save her showing he is completely perfect and all powerful.
When a dude can turn back time and save everyone thats kinda the ultimate over power game breaker.
Ok. This was just stupid. However there have been times where he's had to not save someone. Lets face it when you can hear and see EVERYTHING thats going on in the world, there are going to be people who will have to come later. One example is a little old lady who was saved by Superman. She started to see him as an angel and would start calling him for the most simplist of tasks. That is until she REALLY needs and he could'nt save her.

An elderly superman was killed by a time traveler named Gog, but in that reality his death led to an army of supermen, including a reformed Doomsday, to be formed, discover time travel and travel back to the point before superman died and kill Gog. So Gog went back further in time and stopped himself from going forward with his plan.

Talk about a confusing timeline.

The issue's Action Comics, issue 825

Jesus Christ, Chill!! I didn't say Gog existed.
The topic has spread out to ways superman has or has almost died. I think Gog is worth mentioning to that degree.
