Of course the perfect person for the role isn't in shape to do it, the old pro-wrestler "King Kong Bundy" pretty much WAS The Kingpin in real life, at least physically.
I never said she couldn't act the part, I said she didn't look the part and that's important. I also said you'd have to see her in costume, but even so I don't think she'd
look right with dark hair.
I know a lot of people disagree with me about casting well established characters with actors who can convincingly look like them. But I never faulted Amy Adam's acting abillity.
As far as the guys I mentioned for "The Kingpin" I fail to see what there is to disagree with as they come close to the image of the character from the comics. Both of the guys in question are big bald white guys. What's more it's not that difficult to make someone look bigger than they are in the movies. Stallone is a pretty small guy IRL and there has been a lot of stuff over the years about the tricks they used to make him seem taller for his fight scenes and such in "Rocky". The point is you could make either of the guys I mentioned seem positively monsterous.
But hey, it's fine if we wind up having to agree to disagree. All of this comes down to opinion. Unless I'm misunderstanding what you mean, I'm mostly taking issue with you saying that I don't think Amy could act the part. My problem with her is specifically that she's a blonde and Lois Lane is not. You might not think that's important, but I do, and I myself mentioned that it might be correcible due to costuming before I said much else on the subject.
