I always thought the Wonder Woman and Batman pairing was adorable personally. I don't get why writers keep trying to shove Wondy and Supes together. Lois is just the perfect match for him.

Gee, thanks for demoting Wonder Woman to "Superman's Girlfriend: Wonder Woman". I miss the days when Lois and Clark were married and had a real relationship going on. But of course the New 52 had to come along and scrap all those years of character development. *mumble grumble*

But...but what about all the Batman/Wonder Women fan fiction that has been around since Justice League? My entire world has been fucking flipped upside-down.

Why is it that DC has this thing where if Superman isn't with Lois he has to be with Wonder Woman? I think I've seen this rehashed at least 3 times. Ugh.

Hopefully when they get it on, it won't result in tidal waves, hurricanes and earthquakes like it did in The Dark Knight Strikes Again....

I like this better than Wonder Woman/Batman because that always felt like people just being Batman fans. Batman is highly emotionally unstable, why else do you think his two main relationships in his comics are with Talia (whose father wants him dead, and has tried herself) and Catwoman (who loves him like a cat would, loves him while he's there, doesn't miss him when he's gone.) Batman already has enough women competing for his affection and he's very unlikely capable of establishing a real relationship, still maintaining his playboy image as Bruce Wayne.

Superman however, is far more stable and seems like a more suitable match for Wonder Woman. I would prefer her to be homosexual or at least bisexual given her Amazonian culture and its distrust of men however.

Anyone else's first thought being "FINALLY!"? Cause thats my first thought.

Although from the cartoons, it always seems like She had the hots for Batman.

So deos this mean that lois is gonna have a "oh shii---!" moment at some point? I mean when supes is superboning wonder woman i kinda think he will be busy not hearing lois lane crashing into^something ^^
Considering that Superman and Wonderwoman once had such enthusiastic sex that it literally leveled mountains? Yeah, he's not gonna be able to hear anything coming out of poor Lois' mouth.
I'm tempted to say pics or it didn't happen....

seriously though where did that come from?

OT: I have always wondered why these characters were not closer, they are essentially both aliens to a world that for them must feel like cardboard. Especially since this decades Clark is portrayed as still in conflict with his alien side. Speaking of which I think that while the new 52 have made super man a lot more interesting it has also made Clark Kent very irrelevant. I don't even think there is any romance between Clark Kent and Wonder Woman, but rather a romance between Superman and WW, while this is a fresh interpretation I kind of miss CK being the real personality. I hope what i said makes sense.
I'm going second hand here, but I looked it up and there was at least one time where they had sex in midair. Don't know if the leveling mountains thing is from that, some other occasion, or if it's just a case of a story that grew in the telling.

Dammit Superman is interesting because of how he relates to his supporting cast in his books. Pushing away people like Perry Jimmy, Lana Lois and such removes a vital part of it. He's a god and his closet friends are mortals.

Wonderwoman is much the same way in her best stories. Putting them together is just rage inducing.

That pairing seems extremely safe, and lazy. They exist in a universe with hundreds or thousands of super human creatures, yet they end up together because they are the most popular super powerful characters in their respective sexes, and are practically equivalents in terms of powers. They have tried to balance normal (different) relationships in lives that had nothing normal for decades, but I guess that was too much character development for the writers to handle. They have nothing in common and no chemistry, but the writers don't give a damn because "how awesome would the sex be? ehhh..."

That is writing at fan-fiction level.

I kinda like to think this is just a fling for both of them, where they find themselves in a kind of zen state by not having to be constantly worrying over the health and safety of their current date. Though, one has to wonder what that date is like. Do Clark and Diana just go see a movie, and eat a nice dinner before going home to cuddle? Does Batman keep sending them third wheel Bat-texts? Regardless, I kind of want this to be a pleasant affair where they both try something due to proximity and a few similar abilities and interests, but they find out that it doesn't work because they're just not that compatible.

I like the art and never really had much care for Lane. As not a huge superman fan she always seemed sort of bland. Just kind of there at the wrong time as a plot device and not much else, but that could just be me.

Batman has issues... with all super beings good and bad... and himself... all the time. Maybe he needs to come out of the closet? I think he might be gay or bi.
