The other day I realized that I was rather interested in a career of supervillainy. Currently a freshman in college, my friends and I began discussing what major would most prepare me for this vocation. I said Psychology, while my friends would say things such as Physiology, Criminology, and Business. So I figured why not ask The Escapist boards.

What major do you think would best prepare me for my choice of career? Also, does anyone have any advice for an up-and-coming supervillain?

I approve this choice! The only current real life super villain we have is Kim Jong, and how long do you think he will be around?

Can't you major in politics?
Most of today's super-villains seem to start a career in politics.

I, too am an aspiring super villain.
I'm currently doing a degree in computing but that's because I'm aiming to become one of the evil computer genius types.

Not saying any names! x]

I know. Art. You can put a shovel on a pedistal and call it art and then eventually drive every critic insane. Since everyone is a critic you can take advantage of the insanity and rule the world.

This plan may fall apart since someone has already tried.

Advice? Don't get caught.

Also choose the most unlikely supervillain subjects. I, for example, have take a Joint Honours in Archaeology and ICT. Seems odd right? Well now I know how to use computers pretty well, important in all aspects of society, and can keep up with Indiana Jones.

Bring it on, world!

As a aspiring super-villain, I find Astrophysics useful, it leads me to knowledge that I can apply to super weapons, keeps me away from politics and as a side venture I've started my own business (to fund the evilness later in life).

I think Politics and Psychology would be most useful.
But what do I know, I'm obviously not a supervillain in disguise.

Where's the fun in that? Where's the satisfaction? You would destroy your own freedom with that list!

nuclear physics- that way if everything goes right you can develope your own nuclear weapon to hold the world hostage, and if it all goes wrong you will develope your own superpower with which to hold the world hostage. everyone's a winner. except the innocent people of the world..
