My friend told me that Dragon Age: Origins was hard, though when I played it I found that an obscenely high dexterity makes it so you can't be hit at all, effectively breaking all challenge in the game. Even Nightmare difficulty was easy.
Maybe they never finished it because of the god awful level Trauma. I almost stopped because of how bored and frustrated I was.scarfacetehstag said:Hotline Miami hasn't been said, and some people have legitimately said they never finished it. I'll admit I retried some levels a lot, but never finish it? Some people are just so lame.
Yea. This one is me. I can clear it with one life. (Actually, you start with three lives and by the end I usually have seven)Vhite said:I heard people say that original Contra is impossible without the konami code. I haven't beaten it yet but I can get pretty far without it.
Yeah I thought it was bizarre because I'm generally pretty bad at most games and have never had any trouble with that whatsoever. Maybe the people who thought that just hadn't levelled up for the whole game. Or maybe there just weren't many hard games out that year.LastCelt1989 said:Really? The final boss in Fable? I agree, someone must have been winding you up because I remember that being one big anti-climax from both a gameplay and stroy perspective. In Search of Username said:Everyone saying Dark Souls is making me feel bad, I'm still struggling with it now
I read in some gaming magazine ages ago the final boss of the first Fable game was voted hardest boss of the year. That I never understood, it was a piss-take.
I'd say Europa Universalis, a bit much to take on to begin with admitaddley but onnce you figure out how to send off colonists it becomes pretty straightforward
I honestly have no idea about the state of the game right now, as I quit at the start of Cataclysm. I do have to note though: up to that point they made some of the best - and hardest - fights I've seen. Lich King still remains by far my favourite boss encounter of all time. It's just that epic a fight, both in terms of difficulty and grandeur.Alfador_VII said:Far Cry 3 is still fun though. I'm playing it at the moment. It's tricky at first, but once you get decent weapons and upgrades, yup I could kill Chuck Norris before breakfast.Kargathia said:Either your friends only played the first two hours, or they kind of suck, as Far Cry 3's biggest flaw is that relatively soon you become Rambo on steroids.BeerTent said:My friends tell me Farcry 3 is hard. It is not. I'm already packing 4 guns and I reserve my C4 for the armored guys.
Personally it probably was WoW raiding - apparently getting out of the bloody fire is a delicate art.
WoW raiding on the other hand has swerved wildly between so easy it's a joke to OMG hard.
At the moment, it's both, with LFR for the people who are so dumb I'm surprised they manage to log in, Normal mode for most people, which at least in the current expansion is fairly challenging for a lot of people.
Then there's heroic mode which only very very few good guilds even try.
