The first on is effective, this second one just seems to have an echo effect with the environment.
I don't think a 22 would get through a Kevlar vest, let alone kill someone, to be honest.

And the second is loud, you can only hear it a bit in the video, but I bet you that guy's wearing ear protection.
Now I'm no expert, but it just seems like for the most part, without using seriously specialised gear for ranges where you might just be better off stabbing people, silencers are pretty pointless unless you're hunting game or trying not to annoy the neighbors with your hobby.
My firearm instructor told me that the most lethal round on Earth is the 22. because it kills people with lead poisoning. What he meant was that although it had little to no stopping power it would still tear arteries and veins so a person may not not even know they were shot until they lost a dangerous if not even lethal amount of blood. Being shot is being shot.

Seven of the damn things didn't kill "Fiddy Cent", I don't think an army man (or woman) has much to fear from them.

For the best result with a SUPPRESSOR they use subsonic ammunition.

For instance an MP5 with a suppressor and regular ammunition you might get, at best 10% sound reduction, while if you use the special ammunition your going to have real results like over 25% (Best quality suppressor and best quality, small caliber, subsonic ammo on a good day in spring).
That's still 75% of noise making it out of the gun.

It'd really only be useful for sniping with, what with the muzzleflash...
Hence the emphasis on SUPPRESSOR. But really, if you have a properly done MP5 its going to be quiet enough to muffle something that would grab attention. It also matters whats around you when you shoot it
if your by glass or concrete its going to make a little more noise, if you have regular walls with insulation board or if your in the jungle or woods, its going to be hard to hear it over 100 yards away without specifically listening for it

well I dont think that a silencer would ever make a gun entirely silent... you still have a bullet that is traveling at the speed of sound, which is going to make noise no matter what silencer you use for it.

that third video shows it best I imagine- that you can hear the sonic boom of the bullet and the echo, and the ping of the target being hit.
So if thats the problem, I imagine that it would only be used for very close quarters and use possibly a low-velocity bullet? if there is such a thing? and then the bullet hitting a target would muffle the sound even more.

or you could just go like DeNiro in Godfather II with the Black Hand

that 2nd link is funny

but we seem to be missing some facts

1. thats standard civilian silencers and ammo when the military sends people in and gives them those sort of things they give them top of the line stuff
2. silencers have 2 main purposes, make the gun quieter, and decrease the echo given off

it's, say, a sixteenth of the original energy/"loudness", you're only losing 24dB
losing 24 dB is 250+ times quieter (logarithmic scale, 10 db= 10x loudness)

One of the main things to consider when using a supressed weapon is that is alos hides muzzle flashes, which is great for night ops. Also using sub-sonic ammunition helps quite the gun. Though Heckler and Koch came out with the MP4SD5 which had an integrated supressor which worked very very well.

Mainly your "silenced" or rather extremely suppressed weapons are based on the .22 Long round. Those rounds are packed 'light' which make them sub-sonic. This is where your most quite weapons come from.

How do you feel about this, do you even care about silencers on guns?
pointless.
not worth the inherent power trade off.
im not a quiet sneaky person, although i enjoy it sometimes.

I still think it's worth it for the accuracy and increased muzzle velocity. With distance, you'd be pretty hard to find.
