Ray jumps out of the way of liquid fire with part of his clothing set ablaze, Ray glance's towards his minions who were slowing burning to death.

Ray looks at his burning sweat shirt "god dammit......." Ray charges a blast of energy and shoots off the section of the sweat shirt, Ray raise his hand and proceeds to fire rapid blasts of energy from his hands firing about the same speed as a machine gun.

Kris watched as the building collapsed and Slim approached the two others that walked away from the rubble. From the bits of conversation that he had heard, those two were very much insane. He saw The newer arrival summon four... shadow people, it was the best way he could describe them. Soon followed by Hockey Man throwing a rock ridiculously fast towards Slim.

What came next surprised Kris and had him summon his saber. The shadow man and Slim were now fighting. It seemed that Slim could handle himself pretty well, but there were still six people including the shadow minions.

Kris ran closer to Slim as he started to play on an air guitar that made sound and other things happen around him. Fire started blasting towards Shadow Man when Kris caught up to Slim."I don't know exactly what's happening here, but it looks like you're pretty well out numbered!" Kris held his saber at the ready and grinned. "I don't know if I'll be of much help, but i hope you wouldn't mind me backing you up?" He stood at the ready, eyeing the tongues of flame heading towards the enemy.

 

[Nukey]

Ray quickly jumped out the way of the oncoming tongues of fire, an impressive feat of agility. His minions just ran threw it not feeling anything, he glances towards the new challenger and shouts "the darkness cannot die, join me or perish!" with an insane tone in his voice.
Ray gestures his hand and fires a barrage of dark energy blasts towards ThreeWords and Kris.

 

[Grimheart]

Ah shit! Kris jumps and rolls away from Slim, getting back to his feet in one fluid motion effectively avoiding the dark energy. There definitely wasn't any option for negotiation now. Shadow Man had an advantage, he could attack from a distance. This made things tricky, he would have to try and get closer without getting himself killed.

Kris decided to jump towards the Shadow Man using the air around him to augment his jump. He hoped to land behind him close to the rubble, and within melee fighting distance.

 

[ThreeWords]

ThreeWords' hands shifted rhythm imperceptibility, and in turn the song shifted first to Elbows' "Mirrorball". As the music changed, the fir faded, replaced with a shimmering sphere around himself and Kris.

"You're welcome to help" he said, above the noise, "My name is ThreeWords. Who are you?"

As he spoke, Ray's energy bolts smashed into the shield, but rather than impact, they merely stopped, hanging in mid-air. For a heartbeat, they didn't move, then ThreeWords finished the song with a chord, and the bolts were launched backwards towards their master

As the tide turned, he switched again to Linkin Park's "Bleed It Out", and Ray's heart was struck with a terrible malaise, and he felt all his anger and desire fade away, as if the bottom had fallen out of his heart. As the song strengthened, the feeling grew, a terrible cold emptiness consuming his soul and threatening his sanity

Ryan watched as Mr. Average flew off to see what the disturbance was. He couldn't say it was a surprising sight, as he shook his head and chuckled at the insanity of it all. Turning to Supergirl, he was about to ask her what they should be doing to help right now, besides being subtle, when the building a few blocks down collapsed into a pile of rubble.

"Oh for fuck's sake. Not two minutes go by and they already start destroying the freaking place..." said Supergirl, shaking her head in disgust. "Anyone against trying to find out what the hell just happened over there?" Then she took a running start and leapt over to the next building. "You wanted to know what's happening and now this might be your answer. Try to keep up..." she yelled back to them as she left. Ryan glanced at Amy, then shrugged and grinned. "Hey, it may get interesting. It'll be the most excitement I've had in a while." He could tell she still wasn't sure. "I'll make sure to get us out quick if it goes downhill."

He trotted over to the edge of the roof, and then stopped as the cement and bricks beneath him molded into a big, gooey, gray bridge. It reached across to the other side, fastened to the wall there, and then hardened enough to let him walk across. He did so, then stopped on the other side and waved for the others to cross as well.

"best fight i have gotten into so far!" Ray shouts out, countering the burst of energy with another burst of his own, the energies diminish as they hit each other.

Ray reaches down towards a large pip segment about 44 inches, Ray wields it like a sword as Kris approaches him and the music slowly changing his attitude, making him even more insane.

Kris landed clumsily atop the rubble of the building"The names Kris!" he shouted over after seeing the impressive display of ThreeWords' power.

He had landed a little further than he expected but it wasn't far enough to make a difference to his strategy, get it close and try to incapacitate Shadow Man.

Your move.

Hearing his opponents voice in his head took him by surprise but he still pressed on. he charged the now pipe wielding man with his saber, preparing to come at him with an upwards slash.

Ray dodges the attack with lightning reflex's.

Aha! Found it. Once she'd finally reached the battle it was already in full swing, with blasts and explosions from every which way. "This is supposed to be subtle!?" She continued to watch from the rooftop, once in a while looking this way and that for innocents, making sure she could see the sides clearly before charging into the fight.

The man moved impossibly fast, and kept chatting inside his head. Nothing more annoying. After the slash, he managed to move back a bit, avoiding his enemies first swings. but had to block the rest. after about three swings he saw the opportunity to riposte."Talking inside someones head, is that another way to try and distract your opponents?"

seeing as terribleyetfun's character and i are both on same side and mindless psycho's would it be okay for me to control him this fight seeing as he's sleeping?

The block caught kris off guard and he had to jump back to better gauge his opponents next maneuver."Well, i like talking, you know, with my mouth." He started to move towards the side, trying to move back towards ThreeWords. This man was able to move faster than normal. a defensive game would be best at this point, and it looked like he would need as much help as he could get.

Ray drops the pipe and kicks it upwards towards Kris's face, showing his confidence

i don't need a weapon to take you on the voice was getting louder and more crazy sounding every time it appeared in Kris's mind.

Kris put up his sword in a defensive position and expected to feel the pipe clash. But what he felt was something entirely different. It was as a strain in his mind, it was as if he was making a wall in front of him. His reflex to block must have made this happen. The pipe that was aimed for his head collided with the air a few inches away from his face. "Whoa!" Kris, startled, fell to the ground. it took a few seconds to figure out what had just happened. And when that happened, he heard the booming, maniacally insane laughter of the Shadow Man in his head. he quickly got back up to his feet and moved back a little bit more

Rays eyes flash with the dark aura, the same way his eyes look before reading someone's mind

Oh come on Kris! i just disarmed myself take advantage of that! Ray yells inside of the man's mind
whats the matter? are you scared of an unarmed psychic?

"Scared wouldn't be the word i would use." He kept moving away from the man. Kris had just discovered he could use his power for things other than jumping around."Being cautious has always been good for me..."If he could use the air to block a blow, maybe he could use it offensively as well. He was a decent distance away from Shadow Man so he thought it a good time to test out something.

He concentrated on the blade of his saber and tried molding the air to mimic the blade."You want me to attack? Well, then take this!" he shouted as he swung the sword horizontally towards the man, it was strange, he felt as if the sword had sent something towards the man, and he could also faintly see a distortion in the air that rushed towards Shadow Man at an incredible speed.

"I'll make sure to get us out quick if it goes downhill," said Ryan. Amy hesitated, and then nodded with a nervous smile. "Yeah," she breathed, clenching her fists. "I trust you."

Amy stared in wonder as the great stone bridge stretched outward and hardened, at such an amazing speed, too. She stepped up to the edge after Ryan, and tentatively lowered a foot onto the bridge, testing it. It seemed perfectly sturdy. Grinning with glee, she hopped onto it and ran across, wonderfully frightened and excited at the same time. This felt more significant than, well... most of her life.

Upon reaching the other side, she threw her arms around Ryan in a large hug, beaming. "Thank you! I haven't done anything this amazing since, since..." She struggled to remember, and instead took a step back, smiling. "Thank you."

Her eyes drifted over Ryan's shoulder, towards the loud commotion on the streets. "Come on. We should help."

 

[Nukey]

Ray raised his arm and a minion appeared before him, Ray watched as this minion was cut in half and Ray was left entirely unharmed. Ray glances towards the rest of his minions who were falling down dead due to the fire from earlier.

"well the minions are dead, i can always summon more" Ray mutters to himself, he glances up towards Kris "nice trick, but tricks aren't what win fights" Ray charges Kris and delivers a powerful kick towards Kris's arm, knocking the saber out of his hand.

The saber went flying out of his hand and landed a distance away. he winced in pain "Think you can disarm me that easily?"He grinned despite the pain in his arm and decided to try and elbow his opponent in the gut.
