Hiya escapists.
[sub]I'm sorry if this has been done before, the searchbar isn't cooperating with me today[/sub]

Have you ever, in a game, encountered an enemy that you had severe trouble beating, even though it should just have been a normal challenge?

I have done so twice. The first would be in Jedi knight: Jedi academy, I almost couldn't pass one of the sith in a late level.

The second were the will-o-the-wisps in Oblivion. I played with a magic oriented character, and those seemingly easy enemies had me fleeing, drinking potions and healing myself like crazy. It didn't exactly help that I could not see them at times.

Edit: Changed the title to a more appropriate one.

Mike Tyson in I Wanna Be The Guy.

...and Mecha-Birdo in I Wanna Be The Guy...

...and the entire I Wanna Be The Guy game...

A thresher maw in Mass Effect. I was fighting it in a perfectly normal and effective manner, when suddenly it comes out of the ground UNDERNEATH my Mako. I end up facing a 1/3 health Thresher with my mako on about 5% repair, everything flashing red.

Not really a single enemy, but a 'mob' in Dragon Age: Origins always troubles me far more than anything else in the game.

Near the beginning, in the Korcari Wilds, the mob by Missionary Rigby's lockbox gives me far more trouble than any other group of 'normal' enemies in the entire game. I have no idea why...
