Personlly, I think that the problem is these whole Piece of Eden/Old Gods/more shit. If the focus where on the war between Assasins and Templars it would be much better.

Also, I didn't like Ezios story, he didn't feel like a Assasin like Altair did.
I haven't played Brotherhood yet, but yeah, all this magic and aliens business is intruding on the old-timey feel of ancient Italy.

The Codex was a really immersive method of storytelling, but that's as far as it should have gone. The pieces of Eden just push the WTF limit.
All the stuff in the future is a shitheap as far as I'm concerned. The stupidity of the Pieces of Eden and old Gods and all that crap only compounds it. It could easily stand on its own as a series of episodes of the assassin/templar struggle without any reference to the future. Personally I loved Ezio but found Altair a bit dull. I'd take him over Desmond any day though.

This survey is bugged. I'm Canadian--and when I select Canada, after a few questions it asks me where I reside and lists off places I assume are in the UK.

=_=

Whenever I say I'm from the US, it keeps making me choose what region of the UK I'm in and how much quid I make in a year.

Weak.

The future just doesn't have a place in ancient history, it seems. There is a line between them for a reason, Ubisoft. :I

Is there a ninja that runs around in his underpants killing people from the shadows that you *wouldn't* take over Desmond?

I'm beginning to wonder if anyone does. Broken sign-up survey, perhaps?

Does this approach to game design disgust anybody else?Catering to the masses to maximize profits instead of letting GAME DESIGNERS,the people who know what there doing, make the game that they envision instead lets listen to a bunch of idiots to arbitrarily add as many elements to the game as we can to satisfy everybody. This is how games like Army of Two are conceived so good luck with your design by committee sequel,I hope that extensive market research pays off for you Ubi Soft.Glad to see a big publisher pushing the barriers of creativity.

Anyone else having issues with the survey or is it just me? Every time I pick US as my country, it keeps asking me what region of the UK I live in.

I heard about this survey. It's sexist. If you choose 'female' it automatically blocks you from answering some 98% of the questions. I'm not even kidding! Try it! Picking Female skips right towards the end! Then pick Male for comparison!

I am not impressed, Ubisoft!

I think they're TRYING to be the biggest dicks in the industry now.

I'd like them to up the stealth and the AI (enemies and allies) in the game. I'd really like it if I felt like remaining completely anonymous was crucial to survival.

Tagging on to that, it would be nice to pick out what you wear and what equipment you bring on missions (e.g. dressing up like civilians with only a bit of leather armor under your shirt and a dagger).

I don't suppose you all chose "Female", did you?

I could be mistaken, but that might be what you did 'wrong'.

Let me know if this was the case; I want to know if I have yet another reason to hate Ubisoft.

So much focus on multiplayer makes me a bit concerned. They seem to have got the balance right in AC:B - single player first and foremost, multiplayer as an extra. Hopefully they can keep the balance and not fuck it up by short-changing the single player for the sake of multiplayer like so many games do these days.
Finally, another person who understands what makes a good game good.

Just answer that you're from the UK (thats what I did. I assume you're from the US like me?)
Seems pretty cool, it 'd be nice if they include alot of that stuff

Nope. Didn't meet the demographic and I'm positive I'm a male. Probably the site, not Ubisoft.

Wasn't allowed to take the survey...
Oh well, based on what was copy pasted here, this is what I want to see in AC3;

2) An enhanced Eagle Vision: see the patrol paths of guards, spot clues to complex navigation puzzles, detect when characters are lying during interrogations, etc.
5) An additional objective where you and your Assassins guild fight against the Templars to gain control of a city, district by district
6) Playing as a new Assassin, in a different historical time period

I despise multiplayer, so I hope they will leave that out. It messes up my platinum trophies. :<

Suggestion for alternate title: Assassin's Creed Survey Hints at the Obvious.

I mean, given the pedigree the franchise has, I wouldn't be surprised for it to remain awesome.
