3. Used to play every day, since I've got a girlfriend... Maybe once or twice a week.

4. All of them, including racing games. Oh wait, not all, I dislike sports games.

5. Swearing, hell yeah. The ending of PoP:T2T made me swear a lot... After about 30 times trying to beat the boss on the hardest mode, I finally beat him. Feels good.

6. No, but I have once considered throwing my controller out the window.. Didn't do it though, wasn't nearly pissed enough for that and what use would it have?

7. Affecting my actions, yes. But not in the harmful way, more in the way of how to find value in myself, to be more confident about myself.

8. No.

9. Does Kung Fu count as violent behaviour? Otherwise no. And I do Kung Fu sometimes with my brother, as a fun pastime.

3. How often do you play videogames?
Pretty Often, I try to squeeze in at least an hour a day.

4. What genres?
Depends on what mood I'm in. If I don't want to play multiplayer, I play RPG's mostly Mass Effect. If I want to play an intense multiplayer, I play Nazi Zombies, Company of Heroes, or Bad Company 2. If I want to screw around with friends, I play FPS's.

5. Have games ever made you angry when playing them? (ex. Rage quit, swearing)
Depends on the game, in the intense ones I don't actually swear or rage quit often, but when I'm just messing around and people use cheap things to kill me (i.e. noob tubes, knifing, some random glitch that somebody found) I get angry and swear, the only time I really rage-quited was because I was trying to play 3rd person Team Tactical in Mod Warfare 2, and it kept bringing me to either boosting lobbies or those infinite kill glitched games that I refused to play.

6. Have games ever made you physically violent when playing them? (ex. harming the controller)
Nope

7. Have games ever made you angry when not playing them? (ex. thinking about them affected your actions)
I don't really think about games when I'm not playing them, and the only times I do is when I'm planning strategies with my friends. So that would be a no.

8. Have games ever made you physically violent when not playing them? (ex. thinking of them affected your actions)
As I said before, I don't really think about them when not playing them.

9. How often do you engage in violent behavior?
Not often. Then again there are many things I do that release steam, like working out or going shooting at this range we belong to.

A generic freshmen year course at college, for the project we have to confirm or debunk a social myth and my group chose "Do videogames cause violence?" One of the points we're trying to make is that they do cause temporary anger, which is one of he reasons why they have a bad stigma, but do not cause gamers to become violent.
Very interesting, best regards with it.

3. Depends. Can go weeks without having (or taking) time to play games. when i do however, its for 3-6 hours a day.

4. RTS (Total War series) and Western RPGs (Bioware), for PC. Action/Adventure (God of War), JRPGs (Almost any of them) and some platformers (Ratchet & Clank), for consoles.

5. Frustrated and irritated, rarely angry. I don't swear that often, have been known to do so when playing games (where fluency of language being sworn in is proportional to the level of frustration)

6. I have squeezed a controller/ mouse really hard and clicked at the speed of light to relive frustration. Otherwise, no.

7. Not that i can remember. Can remember having moment of clarity of how to et through frustrating part after quitting a game, and feeling stupid/angry with myself because it was a simple solution in hindsight (isn't that true for non-game stuff as well tho?)

8. Nope, Never. Unless you count waving my arms around in a silly self-reenactment of Kingdom Hearts or Dragon Age combat (try it, it's fun XP!).

9. Never. I think i have punched another person a total of two times in my lifetime, and the most recent one (14-15 years old) was straight in the chest and not very hard. I can throw a fit of rage just like any other person, i just make sure not to harm other people or even objects.
