Swearing?

Here in the US, there's a bad word patrol to run around and flail about like children when you use dirty words.

I think they need to be more reserved for specific occasions and uses, rather than just being words. Always thought of them as spices for language. A little bit here and there can improve it, but too much and it tastes like shit. <------Also that's the last time I swore.

actually at my job to combat with our potty mouths as many of our clients are older and do not appreciate the naughty words, we replace any word that is not acceptable with cuss. Thank you fantastic MR.Fox awesome movie.

Well, I'm from Sweden and we swear in pretty much ever other sentence. The last time I swore was a few minutes ago while writing a message to my sister.
My sister swears extremly rarely, and the same goes for my mother, but sometimes they let one out!

I don't think much about swearing. It's part of my language!

Yeah swering is a part of our languge it even exsist a text that helps you remember how to difference between parts of speech and the only help you get are swears...Yeah the text is written as a joke but it still shows how much some of us swear

Erm, the last time I swore was probably sometime this past minute, as I was watching something funny, so to emphasise how funny it was, I used the word "fucking" as a prefix to "hilarious".

I grew up in Wiltshire, I go to a private school, my dad's an RAF Officer and my mum's a teacher. So basically if my life got any posher I would actually be inbred... and I swear like a fucking trooper!

But never when it's inappropriate (okay, you could argue that it's never really appropriate and I admit it'd be hard to disagree, but FUCK OFF). When I'm dealing with clients, representing my company or whatever I tend to be overly polite, just for the laugh of it.

Isn't it true of the upper classes in this country that they're actually rather vulgar behind all the genteel assumptions you see in media or tea and scones? They swear all the time and (the younger generations at least) are more prone to partying like it's 1999 with all the sex, drugs and rock 'n' roll that goes with it? xD

Last time I swore was probably the last time I spoke, probably. I don't remember. I'm easily the sweariest of all my friends.

I never swear, although one might accidentally occasionally pop out. I don't do it because I just find it distasteful and I have more than enough alternatives in my mental lexicon to say something less offensive albeit equally effective. I don't consider 'damn' a swear words though.
