Sweet Threading

I have noticed that when people write on the Escapist, To make their posts/threads more interesting you/they will use italic's, bold words and add images. Have you noticed any others and how do you write like that?.
1- [ b] BOLD [ /b]
2- [ color=green] green [ /color]
3- [ i] Italics [ /i]

There's also strikethrough, underline, size, spoiler, image, youtube and quotation codes, I believe.

I just use italics to better express what I'm trying to say. I'm an audial person when it comes to language, so when I write a post, I hear the nuances of one speaking.
