So yeah, I got it, and the university I go to made certain I don't go to class until 24 hours after my temperature returns to 98.6. If this were high school, I'd love it, but because I am paying an ungodly amount of money, I am pissed. Especially because I have a calculus test today.

Anyone else have any fun stories about swine flu, or sickness in general?

Only fun thing I think of is I've probably had it and didn't notice. It's so silly the way people are terrified of the flu. And it's bull they're making you stay away from class, especially since your paying for it. Unless of course it's just standard to do that. If they wouldn't do that for the normal flu, or other virus, they shouldn't do it for the swine flu.
Then again I've never been to college and don't plan on it, so I don't really know what common procedure is.

Better off they do that than underestimate it. It already has killed people. Maybe people will be more careful about contact and hand washing and stuff like that. So, I wouldn't say it's a lie as much as a deliberate exaggeration.
