Sword Fighter

I have been looking for one for, well, it feels like ages.
And all that I can find, that is relatively new, is Heavenly swords and Assassins Creed. I'm honestly in not in love with Heavenly, and Assassins doesn't work all too well on PC. Has anyone got a good sword-fighting-face-smashing-with-big-metal-thingey game on the top shelf, new or old?

Red steel 2 is coming out soon. If you want a thrid person one, then Devil May Cry or God of War.

I suppose if you like epicly blunt weapons Soul Caliber is good.

If you like fighting lots of little shit bastards that go down in one hit I'd say Dynasty Warriors, but there's not much to it other than button mashing. That and I don't know if there's a PC version.

Am also looking in to DMC, i played the first one, really good.

Dynasty Warriors is probably your best bet for murdering faceless goombas. Well any of the Warriors line. It's not exactly complicated like a fighting game (or hybrid fighting game), but it is very good for blowing off steam when you can watch the kill ticker approach 3k in certain situations.

Or Ninety-Nine Nights, then reaching 3k is practically guaranteed.
