"What do you think that thing was? It definitely didn't seem human..Was it..like those undead villagers? Could they be connected somehow?"

"I don't know what it was." Malyc responded to Rena's questions. "It was definitely not human, but it could be connected to the undead villagers... Although how that mage could bring something so powerful under it's control... It just doesn't seem likely, but we'll find out."

While searching around, Malyc managed to find a cache of a few dozen arrows, with which he refilled his quiver, as well as a stack of torches nearby. "Got some torches over here" He said, as he lit one and put a few in his pack.

Malyc's eyes fell on the bodies once more as he walked to the door. "I'm going to kill that creature..." He mumbled, pissed at the loss of men that may be needed later on.

Still holding her dress up to cover her nose from the smell of death and other icky stuff, Rena followed Malyc into the room with the arrows. Seeing a few bows, she appraised them before frowning and saying. "These are all too big for me to use. Why couldn't they have used smaller bows?" She was still a little upset that she had to use her bow as a shield against the bandit elite, but it had kept her alive after all. Shrugging, she looked to Malyc and asked. "You didn't happen to see any smaller bows out there did you?"
