Syfy Sets Superman Prequel Series Krypton

Wasn't Krypton supposed to be kinda like Earth but better? High tech made Kryptonians long lived and prosperous, with robots and stuff doing all the work? If so, what would Grandad Superman actually do? I thought the name El was tainted by Jor-el. So wouldn't it be in good standing for this character?

Also the fact Kryptonians don't have super powers on Krypton... You sure we can't get an Adam Strange show instead? All the awesome of another world, but with more actual conflict.

I could be interested in it as I did find Kryton really cool looking at the start of the film and I did asked myself wanting to see more of it!
