Personally, of the newest round of systems i own a 360, it does everything i want, and it has yet to fail me.

But i was wondering, is anyone else loyal to Systems/Company? I find that the only reason i dont own all 3 new systems is because i dont have enough pissing money to buy them all. And on top of that while i own my 360, i still love my old gamecube, and my ps2!

not really, someone could still prefer a certain system without being a fanboy, for example a parent might like nintendo more because there is more kid friendly stuff on it.

Company loyalty is retarded, they don't give a shit about you as anything other than a whore who gives them money.

Yep. Mindlessly following a particular company is what leads that company to screw people over (as MS have done with the Xbox360). They don't have to work for their consumer base - so will just drop as much crap on them as they think they can get away with.

You might love a company, but that company never loves you. You are just a slut to them.

Having a liking or enthusiasm towards a certain developer or series isn't fanboyism until you start attacking others irrationally for saying something negative about your favorite developer/series.

I don't have any particular loyalty to a company. I just get whatever I like.

I got a 360, but not a PS3. Why? because the PS3 is 600 freakin' dollars. It doesn't mean I don't like Sony, just that their system is expensive and I don't feel like paying for it.

i used to be loyal to nintendo until the gamecube, basically. i thought the SNES and particularily the N64 were both quality consoles. but my loyalties faded as i viewed the gamecube to be pretty dire. after that i tried to choose the console i would simply like the most. so i got a PS2 then a wii. the wii was a tough choice as it was essentially the lesser of 3 evils. i still wonder if i should have got a 360...
the PS2 is still my favourite.

I've never understood this irrational love/hate relationship people have towards a box that plays games. You never see that sort of thing happening with other electrical appliances. I did once know someone who wouldn't hear a word spoken against JCB diggers.

I have one friend who'll defend the PS3 until the day he dies. If I even mention my Xbox around him he'll scold me and point out how much less of a man I am on various flow charts. He doesn't seem to realise that I like the PS3, and my not being able to afford more than one console isn't a personnel attack I set up against him years ago. I'm just a lot poorer then he is!
