System Shock 2 Help

So, I decided to bust out System Shock 2, American McGee's Alice and Silent Hill 1, 2 and 3 and finish them on my holidays. I went to the store, bought a bag of chips and an energy drink and sat down.
I decided to finish System Shock 2 first because I never really got around to playing it.
Anyway, I have it on my computer but apparently I had deleted it without uninstalling it, now that poses a problem because I cant install it while my computer recognizes it as installed. Any way to fix it?

Problem number 2, last time I played it and after 10 seconds it froze.

Anyway, if I get fixes for these problems and any other problems arise, I will post them here.

No, unfortunately. I don't think it's in program files though. I'm assuming you're running XP?

Ooh, deary deary me. SS2 does not like Vista at all. I think that might be the reason for the crashes.

Although, heres a thread on another site that might help.

Nothing likes vista, i've come to peace with that.. >.<

The fan made patch works with win 7 as well and i'm sure i got it running on vista ultimate.
