That's chinese. Learn your language. Taiwanese is a dialect of fujianese which itself is a sub dialect of chinese.
Oh I am terribly sorry for not realising that Taiwanese is a dialect of Fujianese which itself is a sub dialect of Chinese. After visiting Taiwan on so many occasions I must be stupid not to have noticed this blatently obvious fact.
Actually it's not the fact you didn't know what taiwanese sounded like. It's the fact that you didn't know what chinese sounded like that offended me.
Well, it says he is taiwanese, so you really should not get offended. Maybe someone should get offended that you are offended that he did not realize that he mistook that language for a language that does not officially exist. (No such language as "chinese")

In short, you are kinda overreacting.

Taiwanese really is the most awkward sounding language.

But anyway, OT, congrats to the guy. Even if it is for winning at a fighting game...
haha I've encountered a lot of Taiwanese where I live
it definitely loses to Korean and Cantonese...

heh, leave it to Asia to keep video games as true sporting events :D

The best part is he beat Justin Wong using Adon, and JWong had said that Adon was terrible and worthless at one point. Sure proved him wrong.
