I don't think that Bethesda is in any hurry. The Imperial Library has had all the Elder Scrolls books posted online for some time (since well before Oblivion).

PDF is widely considered the worst form of ebook (as opposed to files you read on the computer) since -- not counting the stupid bags Adobe has been stapling onto it the past few years with the apparent intention of making it the most insecure file format since .vbs -- it was designed for printing, rather than reading.

If you want one tho, I suggest Calibre. It runs on all 3 major OSs and can convert EPUB to PDF trivially. (Just don't try going the other direction)

While that is true, it still is the most popular and the most comfortable format to read anything. I guess you could compare it to Flash. its an AWFUL thing, but everyone still use it for its simplicity. (and both are from same company, yay?)

I haven't got the game but I'm still interested in getting them.

I have problems.

But since I'm getting the game for Christmas I'm not going to get them now. Instead I shall be some sort of rogue-poet who breaks into places specifically for the joy of reading.

Tolkien didn't write too many digital books, though.
