He'd have to reroll to confirm the critical hit otherwise a natural 20 is just a guaranteed hit.

OT: I liked it, kind of wish I had a giant D20 ball thing

I am seriously loving this show. I have been on the escapist for a while, and decided to actually register an account so I could add my praise to the lot :p. I look forward to many more episodes!

WHY does this show continue to surprise me with just how GOOD it is....when I already know that it is excellent? It makes no fucking sense.

Also the lighting and character development in this episode was phenomenal. Same goes for the cartoon sequence. Well done guys. Well done.

The 'I <3 everyone' sign made me giggle a bit.

...also, I like the idea that dodgeball with d20s was what was needed to unite all roleplayers once and for all.

I think the best parts of this episode was where you could tell they were people who knew what they were doing. And they were some pretty amazing parts, the lollipop man joke was brilliant and the final Realm Ball was great because they were both taking it seriously and just having a bit of fun.

The timing on some of the middle parts could be improved and I didn't think the bar and call in the DM bit really worked but everything else was great.

This is by far and away one of my favourite Escapist series ever and tied top with Dorlareous and Associates when it comes to series which is more than some guy giving his opinion on something

Role playing is cool na dhip now? cause it sees like enough people here alone make LARPers out to be these things that are somehow less human or under intelligent.

Mm, not my thing. I've enjoyed the "parallels between the real world and the gaming world" theme, and this seemed to occupy a space between "reality" and gaming that I couldn't quite swallow. Not a bad episode, certainly, but not one I'll long remember.

Still, nice to get a little more development on our barbarian, and I appreciated the Emperor's New Groove reference.
