My friend just sent me this message, and this picture was attached. I have no idea if it's real, or even if it's old news. Anyone know anything about it? It looks like it might be real, but the things you can do with computers now a days. If this really is her face, I must admit that I'm a little depressed that I found out early, so don't follow the link if you don't want it spoiled.

I've got an alternate-style of that picture saved for wallpapers. Since it's not in the game's engine, I am extremely confident that it's not what Tali REALLY looks like. My guess? We will never know.

Ah nuts. I was REALLY hoping that somehow, someone had leaked Mass Effect 3 art. Because that would mean that Mass Effect 3 is getting ready to start showing up. I knew it was too soon though. Oh well.

And I firmly believe it should stay that way. Part of Tali's appeal is her mystery. We don't know what's under the mask, and therefore can paint whatever image we want to of her in our minds. Showing what she really looks like would ruin that mental image, and we'd never be able to get it back...unless they made Tali's face customizable, like Commander Shepard's. That would be interesting.

I totally agree. I wouldn't even want to be able to customize it. They've got a good character, and taking away the mystery would go a long way towards running what makes Tali great.

rule 34 would argue that point, dont look it up, anyway the halo elites dont make evolutionary sense as it is, the mouth is so weird, how would you eat with it?

There are several dozen fan made pictures of what Tali supposedly looks like, none of them are "real". Do you actually think Bioware is ever going to actually let us see what Tali looks like under the mask? Of course not! It'd ruin all the mystery and intrigue of the character.

As others have already pointed out, that's a bit of old fanart.

Personally, I think it looks a bit too human. In fact, it pretty much is human. I would be a bit dissappointed if that's what Quarians looked like. After all, the Asari are already pushing it in that regard.

She's well drawn though. And pretty too. Props to the artist.

However, I doubt Bioware will ever give us an official Tali/Quarian face. Nor should they.

Although it's pretty obviously fan-art you can tell that the artist worked hard to keep to what you can already see of her face through the helmet.
