Tank downgraded?

Ok so I was playing L4D before the L4D2 launch. No Mercy, Right next to the helicopter, when a tank comes. I literally shouted "OH SHIT!". Now in Left4Dead 2, I see a tank in The Parsish and I'm like, "everyone, walk around it." And when I see a jockey a scream. Anyone else feel the Tank is just like a strong Boomer?

Not when I played it at a friends house.

Although the first one nothing really scared me either.

Perhaps 'cos there were 4 of us just pissing around.

You were probably playing on normal difficulty. Above that, Tanks are worth worrying about, but otherwise you can take them down with a little concentrated fire relatively easily. It was the same in L4D 1.

Your more used to the Tank, it's still the same.

Your just getting used to it. Tanks are still cause me concern in the games.

Especially the last chapter of Dead Center.

The Tank is just as scary in L4D2 as is was in L4D. Try upping the difficulty

It's still the same but taking down a Tank is a piece of cake.

Try taking down a Tank during a panic event where you are forced to move, on Expert difficulty with Realism mode enabled. How we survived I will never know.

Tanks cause me to run. I hate them. Especially when they smash the safe room door...
