See, this is exactly the kind of stupid marketing gimmick that tends to backfire horribly, but they pulled it off without a hitch. I don't know if they're learning, or if they never learn (probably both).

Understand that unlike the American military which has a ready supply of new sprogs guaranteed by patriotism and alcohol abuse. The British military is a shameless publicity whore which must constantly fight for positive media attention.

This means that as long as it's high profile they actually give a shit when you want to use their stuff for something fun. Which is awesome.
