I have been in to the show "Human Target" for a while, and after a while I began to ask why. Many of the characters are quite stereotypical and there is this whole family thing blah de blah, but I still watched, relentlessly. The conclusion I came up with was around a singular character. Most of the characters in that show are, while well acted and fairly interesting within their own merits, fairly stereotypical. There is the big "Aryan" dude who kicks ass, takes names, and has a sweet side. There is the former cop who went rogue. There is even this new thief female who acts like the regular teenager always wanting to to good in a bad way. The one that gets me is a character named "Guerrero". Guerrero is a world class computer hacker and a trained assassin who work for the good guys (kinda stereotypical) and is the smallest character in the room. I am not even joking, the female character is taller than him. The thing is, he boasts this huge personality that actually overshadows most everyone else while he is in the room and its almost comedic because everyone is scared to death of him. This character is one of the most interesting characters I have ever seen on any TV show.
