Okay so I haven't been hearing any updates about the upcoming Tarzan reboot except the fact that Stephen Sommers (The Mummy) is going to direct. Here's how the casting has to go in my opinion if some aspects from the 1999 fim are being followed while still remaining book-based.

Adrien Brody as Tarzan because after overhearing all the things he had to go through during the filming of Predators such as sleeping in the jungle, eating bugs, and gaining 25 lbs of muscle for his role, I feel in my opinion that Adrien could definitely pull it off with ease. I bet he could do an epic job with that Tarzan yell too.

Kate Winslet as Jane because I found someone suggesting that she could most likely pull it off mainly due to the fact that I'm guessing she's never played a damsel-in-distress kind of role before. I was debating with my sister about the casting because she suggested Kaley Cuoco from The Big Bang Theory should play Jane but I disagreed with it because I know for a fact she couldn't do a good job with the British accent. So in my opinion, Kate should play Jane.

Cate Blanchett as the voice of Kala mainly because her voice is very motherly and like what Glenn Close gave us in the 1999 film, I think Cate is going to do the same thing as before. So Cate Blanchett should voice Kala.

Daniel Craig as the voice of Kerchak because..,well.., since I couldn't think of someone who could voice Kerchak, I just thought this out of random and threw in Daniel Craig for the role, so just don't ask why.

Visualwise, I think it should be done by WETA Digital because after seeing Rise of the Planet of the Apes, it made me assume what they would do if they used the technology for the visuals on the Apes for Tarzan.

I know how eveyone feels, I sure wish Disney would go back to handdrawn animation, but hey, it will with the release of the movie Frozen (Originally called The Snow Queen) but unfortunately it'll be a year we have to wait until then. *sigh* But I agree, it had to go the way it did. Animated films nowadays are still CGI -_-
