Getting a bit weary of Brawl.
I went and looked for a nice fighter on the Wii.

I noticed Tatsunoko vs. Capcom: Ultimate All-Stars was getting some good scores.
Now, I'm not a stranger to Vs. Capcom games. I have Marvel vs. Capcom 2 on my Xbox360, but found it to be pretty much unplayable with a standard 360 controller. The Y+B button combo seemed to be registering either B or Y, hardly ever both. At least, not smoothly.

So my question is this:
Does anyone here have experience with Tatsunoko vs. Capcom: Ultimate All-Stars, and can tell me if this game is worth the 23 euro's?
Will I play till my hearts content? Or will I sadly put the controller down, wishing it would work more smoothly?

Really?
No one can tell me if the control for this game work smoothly?

The game is great! I'll admit, I'm DEFINITELY not a fighting gamer person, so learning the different combos and such did take a while, but that aside, I loved playing the game!

Based on you two, and the fact that it's not a port but a game with the actual controller in mind, I decided to buy it.
So my future happiness now rests solely on your shoulders. Yes, YOU!

It's an awesome game. Awesome. Get a classic controller/GC controller.

It is a very good game. It might not be as deep as, say, Blazblue or Street Fighter, but it is certainly the best fighter on the Wii to date. It is also pretty easy to get into. The online isn't great though, Capcom don't seem to have put all that much effort into that part. But for offline multiplayer, it's a blast. For the best experience, definitely get a Classic Pro controller.

I main Jun/Karas/Chun-li, they're awesome.

I would it. You'd need to get a Classic controller to really enjoy it, but I recommend it. It's pretty damn fun.

I love this game. Got it the day it came out. I use a GC or Classic Controller alternately, and have never had any trouble with the controls. (Aside from having to look up online how to switch fighters during a battle.) I've never tried the various Wiimote/Nunchuck configurations, but a friend of mine who is bad at pulling off moves can hold his own with the sideways-Wiimote approach.
