If you're in Ireland or that damn UK, the brand name Lyon's Tea with some milk and two sugars is always a good-to-go! Jasmine's already been said, so I also go for Orange and Lotus Flower, by Twinings. You can chill with that one

Being English, I basically live on tea. Usually PG Tips, Tetleys or Twinings (depends on which has the better offer when I pick up a bulk pack at Sainsbury's). I even have a clipping from the Metro (free British paper) where scientists discovered the secret to a perfect cup. You let the bag stew for two minutes and add 10ml (I think) of milk. I never tried the milk bit but two mins is spot on for flavour.

Yep, that's definitely Tea, nothing fancy. Unless Tetley is a flavour now

Prefer coffee by a country mile but don't mind the odd tea.

At home it's very strong with a dash of milk.
If I'm out....starbucks, etc it has to be a chai tea latte!

Also OP I'd recommend chai tea, you can buy chai teabags....I think twinnings do them if you live in the UK. It's indian and tastes of cinnamon! Just throw it in some hot water and a dash of sugar to bring out the spice and you're good to go!

In fact I forgot all about it so I'm off to make a cup!

OT: I used to drink to tea, but then I started drinking coffee. I'm up to a pot a day. I drink tea now and just get angry when it doesn't help to wake me up at all.
Sumatran coffee... awayyyyy!

Okay. Darjeeling is what I grew up on, and it's a nice light flavour - good for starting on black with milk. Or lemon, if you prefer. At the moment I mainly drink Assam, which is simply good basic tea. Lapsang Souchong has a fantastic smoky flavour and is nice in the winter. Twinings do all of these.

These may not be readily available. I drink green outside the UK because the other options seem to be Earl Grey or English breakfast, which I personally think of as nothing much.

Earl Gray - It's the bergamot, god it's good.
Lady Gray - It's made with lemon and Seville orange in addition to bergamot.
English Breakfast Tea - So good with a fry up, or hell even just some toast.

I like the tea they service during dim sum. I'm actually mostly Vietnamese and French. I'm only 1/32 Chinese. (Reason why I don't have an HKSAR passport. Parents were political refugees.)

I don't drink much tea (mostly stick to gratuitous amounts of coffee), but when I do I need to be as strong as possible. If it tastes like hot water then I really don't see the point.

Tangent: Do you tea enthusiasts use tea bags or is there some other contraption?
