Well, sounds like you're a douche too...
not really he was still teabagging me until i respawned and shot him so either he disconnected or he's a complete dickhead with no right to life whatsoever
You're talking about how you shot him in the face with a 50 cal, trying to show how cool you are despite having been teabagged, and you're evidently quite bothered by the occurence as you're asking a question everyone knows the answer to and has known for years. You're a douche.

It started out stupid, but I actually think it is fucking hilarious now. Most people do it kind of tongue-in-cheek anyways.
You mean dick in cheek.

The best part about tea bagging is when you find someone that gets offended. Then you just make a point of tea bagging them for the rest of the game.

It's just a game and there are always other servers. I say that in sincerity because as amusing as my immature ass finds griefers, I've even had to leave a server due to an over abundance of douche baggery.

Chill out, have a laugh, and they eventually leave you alone. Usually.

Then again, I play TF2 mostly. You stop moving long enough to teabag someone and chances are you'll have a hole in your face.

Early on there were people that tried, though. It was quite funny.
One example I still remember: I was stealthing along as a spy and some demospam ends up killing a person. He stops and tries to teabag him.
So I uncloaked, stabbed him in the back and taunted.
The same strategy works with a clever spray that takes a while to read, or has tits in it.
Give it a try sometime.

Yeah, I also play TF2, never seen anyone teabag in it...

yelling and t-bagging has always been a part of the fps genre ever since counter strike fps is very aggressive community.

so i was playing mw2 online and someone popped up and stabbed me in the face. then he shouted how i sucked in a 10 year old squeaky voice and shoved his trousers in my corpse's face, like the squeaky small necrophiliac that he is until i respawned and shot a 50 cal bullet in his face.so my question to you is why? all it does is show how much of a dickhead you are and make everyone want to kill you. or is it just the annoying 10 year old dicks that plague online xbox games.
Teabagging is such an old and common place thing these days that it almost feels weird having someone ask why XD..I mean yeah, its a ***** move, but its just part of life for a competitive gamer. I don't teabag people online because I don't want to make them rage stalk me the rest of the match, so me and my friends have learned to direct our virtual balls towards AI controlled enemies, since they cause me just as much pain as humans.

Sometimes I do it as revenge for being teabagged myself, as it's just the ultimate "You will never beat me" statement.

Or occasionally when I knife someone from behind on BF:2.
I also only teabag my teabaggers, but only because they apparently find it undesirable.

Given that TF2's about the only online game I play regularly anymore, I haven't seen a teabagging in years. I think it's because all the immature 12-year-olds have moved on to other games while the more sporting of us remain. Besides, who needs teabagging when you can taunt instead?

People do it because it pisses people off, and that's funny. It clearly worked on you, Mr. OP.

I'm in a somewhat similar mindset. However, I do it to people that hack or cheat instead. Or, to those that are being epic assholes in game, either to someone in particular or to everyone.

Case in point. Some friends of mine and I were playing a game of Left 4 Dead 2. We started a lobby and waited for it to fill. Before long, we had 4 other players and started up the game. Literally as soon as the game began, the other team vote kicked someone. I had a sneaking suspicion, so I checked the gamercard of the three left and the gamercard of the player that joined immediately after the vote passed. As I had suspected, they were a Gamebattles team that pretended to be pubbers. And, instead of asking the other player to leave, they just booted and brought in their friend.

Anyway, as the game progressed, things got out of hand. They were good players, no doubt, but they weren't THAT good. The only advantages they had were the exploits they kept using. For example, the shortcut on Swamp Fever - Chapter 4, that let's the survivors skip the catwalk crescendo. (before it was patched)

They were ahead in points, so they were survivors first on the level. Naturally, being the kind of dicks that they were, they made a B-line right to that little shortcut. We managed to kill two before they got to the saferoom, but that didn't stop them from teabagging our killed infected.

When it was our turn, we decided to play fair and actually do the crescendo. Unlike our opposing team, we all made it to the safe room. Just before getting there, though, the other team tried one last group attack to get some downs in. After we killed all four of them , we all picked one of the corpses and tea-bagged simultaneously. To no ones surprise, they all rage-quit on the spot.

Was it a dick move on our part? No question. Was it worth it? You're God damn right it was.

its just EVERYONE who plagues xbox live (free headsets... no thanks)[/fanboy rant]

with my fanboyism out of the way i would say that its just done to:
1 make you mad so he can troll you
2 hes drunk/high
3 hes playing MW2 (why are YOU playing MW2 for that matter!)
4 the other posts above about how hes probably insecure.

Serves you right for playing Modern Warfare 2 ;)

I'm a Team Fortress 2 player myself, and the game automatically sets up a freezecam shot of whoever killed you, who'll sometimes be taunting.

It's very nice to see them stuck mid taunt while someone on the other team is running up behind them.

Im 18. I Teabag.

Please quote me if you also did the following, on Team Fortress, get a headshot as a sniper then do a gesture, as the snapshiot of the killer, that being me the sniper, it shows me throwing my hat off calling you a bastard or something.

I thought that was awesome! Its like a distance Teabag, "Ha! Watch me taunt you!"
