Pyro update?

Heavy and Medic arent played in mass in servers cause many of them ruin the team. Thats why they the least played.

Unlike the Pyro who was played alot before and after the pack. This is a Team game, you cant fill your team with heavies and Medics and expect to win.
Medics and heavies ruin the team...

Sure they do. I suppose 5 spies, 4 pyros, and a sniper is the way to go then?

I didnt say they ruin the team...too many of them ruin the team. 2 heavies and 2 medics per team is more than enough. You can have 3 Pyros/Demomens/Soldiers/Scouts. The Engineers/Spy/Sniper depend of the map and objective.

Also you didnt answer to me why the Pyro had his update? Does your theory have a hole or something, that you cant back it up? Tell me was the Pyro ever a least played class before the pack?
It's not a theory it's been stated by Valve that that's how they decide which class to add packs for. Go ask on the official TF2 forum if you don't want to take my word for it.

They also said that every class eventually would get an update.

Releasing updates its their way to keep the TF2 community interested in the game. They all will get achievements. Just look at the TF2 forums you will see hundreds of threads about new weapons for the existing non-updated classes. They will just update the ones in more need first.(The Medic and Scout were the ones in the worse state.)

The medic pack wasn't because the medic was "underplayed" exactly, but because he was not played as much as they would have liked.
Pyro was incredibly broken and completely useless before he got patched.
Even now, I'd say pyro barely has a place in 12v12 and even less in smaller games. Its an opportunist class that simply fails in small games.

Pyro was severely underpowered before his update. It's why they gave his standard flamethrower the airblast.

Spy and sniper packs will be like Duke Nukem Forever. Out there on the horizon instead of in development and being released.

Apart from the Heavy they the least played classes in game. According to Valve theme of work one of them is going to be next. (The spy is just to hard for many players, its the class that needs most practice.)

The Pyro is still the best class to use to break a stalemate combined with an Ubercharge, or even one of those lucky strikes that you manage to cause panic everywere.

I think that Valve released this sneak peak knowing that no one would believe anything they show on April Fools. Then they will actually include the piss jar in the update and everyone will be floored by their sheer amazingness.

The smaller the game size and the more skilled the players are the less this is true.

Personally, as soldier, I can just juggle a pyro straight through an uber without him gaining more than a few feet.
2 sentry guns firing from the same direction are enough to completely negate a pyros movement in that direction.

You're far better off using something w/ boolets or explosives

If theres a skilled medic/pyro pair it will cause enough trouble to break the stalemate. You just need to know the maps and use the right time. And know how to zig zag. xD

The Pyro is the best of solution not only he will have a chance at killing the engineer repairing the damn sentry but he will leave plenty of people burning up so the others can pick them off. Every class is usefull in TF2 you just need to know how to use them and when.

Nothing beats hadoukening a SG while ubered. NOTHING.
(for this to work the medic has to be closer to the gun than you are)

^ ^^^Yeah I know. Maybe the mention of $5 is a way of saying that they are going to be releasing all the updates + sniper one on the xbox version?

No they always do that joke advert kind of thing on the unlocks the scouts one was sandman I think anyway you can see the old ones on the blog. Its a parody of the cheep adverts in comics for useless things like xray specs.

Believe it or not Pyro was the least played class prior to his update he was a lot weaker and seldom played. A couple of weeks before it changed to Scout but Valve had already said it would be Pyro by then.

I have to disagree Heavy Medic on a pub is a pretty good combination Heavy does the most kills per hour on the stats every month. Ironically Heavy is a good counter to Pyro. The thing with heavy though is that he is very slow and a lot of players get frustrated playing him, they would rather play a more dynamic class. Also the scout update didnt help with heavies being the easiest to stun along with Natasha breaking yet again.

Someone said earlier the major classes wouldnt get an update. I cant see that happening, I expect every class will get one though the unlocks may not be as nice as they hoped.
