Now I don't condone team killing, it ruins the fun the whole point of the game. I feel if you want to just kill everyone and everything, you would just play a normal deathmatch.

Now, what do people here feel about accidental deaths. For example I was recently play Halo: Reach beta, I was standing still aiming down the sniper and catching a few headshots here and there, when another guy from my team ran in front of my scope as i fired, thus = headshot on my team. The whole team then batterd me for team killing and they insisted on killing me constantly for the rest of the game. WTF! In another session on the same game, I was inside on boneyard and I fired the wraith, this killed one of my own team, yeah I'll admit my fault for firing a tank inside, deserve to be moaned at for that one. But the first was so unnecessary honestly who runs straight in front of someone who is firing a sniper?

Accidental death's within a team are not one persons fault hence the term "accidental". If the people you're playing can't get that through their skulls it's their own fault.

I always get team killed indirectly because some douchebag always has to be so close behind me, that when I stop and try to retreat back in to a doorway he/she blocks me and I end up getting wasted. Not necessarily their fault, but still, try and keep some freakin' distance.

My honest opinion? I'd say just deal with it. Just because some people cry at you over the internet doesn't mean they're right. Find some good comebacks, like "Alright, go get a tissue" or the more classic "Your mum's a teamkiller.".

Halo tip if they keep killing you? Run around holding a grenade, turns out they've stopped killing you then throw it away, nice and safe. If they kill you, they go boom. Sorted.

Accidents happen. So do people who take the game too seriously. Try to ignore both.

Oh yeah, halo community. That's why.

Here's what you do. Report them for team killing and move on.

If they didn't want you to punish teammates for being stupid/ rage teamkill spree they wouldn't of given you friendly fire. And if I wanted realism I wouldn't be playing a video game.

EDIT: But that doesn't mean I normally go on teamkilling sprees.

As the famous saying goes, "It just happens." Whenever someone TKs me, I'm annoyed but I always forgive the person, they get punishment enough for losing the points.

Accidental killing is fine, so long as it doesnt happen all the time. Alternatively feel free to team kill all you want when its a private game with friends

I used to think team-killing was funny when I was a pre-teen, at least until it got me banned from almost every server online that had friendly fire enabled. A more mature opinion today does not like it, but will forgive people for clear accidents and an immediate apology for their mistake.

That works... but what if you are the one who accidentally does the team kill? Report the guy you killed for team killing?

You just report them, not you. And only if they killed you back more than once. The people who /attempt/ to mod halo aren't going to ban you for one team kill. If one guy does it constantly, he gets noticed.

Ugh, I had a problem with this earlier.

Playing the Halo: Reach Beta, Slayer on Powerhouse. I go for the Gravity Hammer, I knew where the spawn was and it was the closest power weapon apart from the shotgun, but some guy with sprint got that anyway.

I picked it up, then I hear this screech.

Literally, I heard a "NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!" From some kid on our team, he shot me once and said "Give me it, I'm MLG, I'll use it better than you, noob." I decide to move on, I hoped to god he wasn't serious. He was.

All freaking match I was harassed by this 1 guy, he kept throwing stickies at me when I was benig shot at, getting the enemy team a point. When he finally got the Gravity Hammer. (Keep in mind I think I got 3 kills with it?) He runs off shouting something at me along the lines of "Watch how MLG does this, ******"

He then got killed by a Plasma Pistol.
No lie.
A plasma pistol.
Yes, the wimpiest weapon in the game killed some so-called "MLG" player.

He then continued to betray me once he had died, but he did it at his own risk, he betrayed me once more and.

"Would you like to kick zXK1lL3rSn1p3z937457204872103273529035082Xz" (<-- That of course not being his gamer tag, but I doubt I was far off.)

Pressed X and sighed in relief, lost the match and after he left I got the message "jst bcs u cnt b mlg fag"

What an arsehole.

what I hate is when people make up stupid lies to cover up the fact that they just killed me...
and then the rest of the team calls me stupid for not following a plan that makes no sense and that I wasnt informed of.

that kid:"its a standard tactic, I throw the grenade on you then you run towards enemies and DONT stand in the centre of us Zen"

me:eek:r how about you throw the grenade at THE FUCKING ENEMIES!!!!
because, yknow, thats what your supposed to do.

team: be nice Zen, it was an awesome tactic that you didnt follow through, your supposed to be upclose anyway.

me: IM THE FUCKING SNIPER!!!!!! I MADE THAT VERY CLEAR AT THE START OF THE MATCH THAT I SUCK UPCLOSE BUT KICKASS FAR AWAY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

team: your just mad because your a noob.

at that point I grabbed the gravity hammer and brutally murdered my team.
wouldve gotten a nice killstreak going if they hadnt kicked me out...
Im not a team killer, I showed them that im the best goddamn force on thier team, and if you fuck with me then Ill show you how much of a "noob" I am.

Sometimes it's fun.

Plus it shows that the killer has some individuality not to conform to the whole "groups" format. Maybe he's following his own goal, and that's glorious.

Games are for fun. Sometimes it's fun to cooperate in a team, and sometimes it's fun to waste some squeaky motherfuckers from the back. And sometimes, both at the same time is even more fun.

team kills. I'm all about them! There's something undeniably hilarious at hearing the fury of another player after you repeatedly hunt him down and slaghter him, when he's supposed to be on your team. I lol every time.
