So, apparently there's this thing called Team National, apparently it is a group of companies that supposedly help people with businesses and the like. You get discounts at other stores that are signed up for it and they supposedly help you set up your own businesses and the like.

And my mother is apparently considering joining it. Now, here's the kicker, they want like seven hundred bucks for a year long subscription, and around two thousand dollars for a lifetime partnership. If it sounds like I don't really know much about this whole thing its because I don't, I was just told about this group by my mother not more than an hour ago, and I've only really managed to peruse their main website.

I really don't get good vibes from this, probably because when my mom brought it up she said she was "considering joining this pyramid scheme thing." And, though I've never really been part of one, pyramid schemes are pretty shit last I heard.

So all I'm asking for is information, does anyone know anything about this group? Is anyone a part of it? Does it seem like a good idea? Or is it just a fucking scam.

I think it's a horrible idea, but I can't seem to talk her out of it, maybe if I can show her this topic she'll stop. Or IF it is a good thing I'll just keep my mouth shut.

here's a link to the website. http://www.bign.com/en/Home/HomePage.aspx?gclid=CPG-vJCFsbECFYe6Kgod6TsA6A

Really wasn't hard to find at all.

Edit: It's an MLM, so yeah it's a pyramid scheme and you won't ever make money or see the promised lands.
The whole point of this is to sell you a $2000 dollar membership and you're supposed to take coupons for bulk products and sell them on to people you know, who sell them on to others and so forth.
MLM is just a fancy way of saying Pyramid scheme, it's pretty fucking stupid.

Edit x 2: Tell your mom not to do this OP, she's going to have to give a % of her money to someone higher up than her and then be forced to recruit someone below her.
It's just a pyramid brohirrim.

Well if you ask me all pyramid schemes are scams
I hope she has actually researched into this though, especially with the amount of money they are asking for

Read that topic, look at all the users who's only post on the entire forum was an oddly glowing review of Team National. You know that they've drink the Kool-Aid completely.
Oh I read the thing dude, either they're really good at what they do or they have plenty of spam bots willing to spread the good word.

I've seen several sites with posts just like that, considering this is something an every man can do by appearance it strikes me as odd that every post that sings praise is immaculate.
Everyone who can reply to these silly forums apparently have all saved mad cash on expensive cars and other things.
Kind of hilarious how try hard they are.

This one say it all though.

My husband and I were in Team National. I am not impressed with the company. It mostly offers discounted services, but not worth the $2,000 to enroll. I see nothing to be excited about with it. A lot of hype and little value in my opinion. Some people have saved their investment cost, but many have not. One of our upline did well enough to quit his job, but then his downline moved on to other things, therefore he is back to a regular job. In my opinion it is a thumbs down, although I do believe strongly in network marketing.
Dumb ***** alert.
