Okay so I recently got Pokemon Black and as most everyone knows about Team Plasma and how they are pretty much the equivalent to PETA trying to free Pokemon from humans. Well yeah its a nice little difference from the usual we fight you and take your pokemon but Team Plasma is pretty much Team Rocket yelling really loudly that they are going to Liberate Pokemon from their trainers.
And now for the reason why I put this in off-topic discussion which I will put into a spoiler because it deals with the overall plot of the Yellow Arc of the Pokemon Manga:
Okay well Escapist for discussion have you ever been disappointed about how one version of something because a different way that you liked better came out before it and it just has your expectations so high for something?
And now for the reason why I put this in off-topic discussion which I will put into a spoiler because it deals with the overall plot of the Yellow Arc of the Pokemon Manga:
The main antagonists of this arc are the Elite Four. They are not your nice Elite Four from the games where they hang out at the Pokemon League and fight you before you reach the champion. They lured the current Champion Red to Mt Silver under the ruse of a challenge to the Pokemon Champion and freeze him in Ice where he sits for the most of the Arc. Well the Elite Four are the four from the first game Lance, Agatha, Lorianne and Bruno. Well Lance is the mastermind of the whole thing and wants to save all the pokemon from humans by KILLING all Humans. And the final battle takes place in a freaking Volcano so its a lot more badass.
