Today, I got my first tech deck [http://upload.wikimedia.org/wikipedia/commons/5/51/Chicken_on_a_skateboard.JPG]. Yes, I'm well aware I'm a tad behind the times, but still, it was free, and I'm a sucker for a miniature skateboard which requires finger dexterity far beyond my own to use.
Now, to celebrate, I thought I'd look up some tricks and learn how to do them, and, as I fully expected, it's a damn sight harder than it looks. Having said that, I'm still enjoying myself, and I'm sure that I'll get the hang of it sooner or later.
So, my question to you is this: What's your opinion of tech decks, or any other similar finger-boards? Can you do any tricks with them or are you like me, and utterly hopeless? Do you own any of the miniature ramps and rails, or do you just make do with a table and whatever's to hand?
