Every single time someone happens to make a post without any text, people jump right at them. The lack of text is usually an accident due to hitting the "Enter" button instead of "Tab" at the creation of the post. Just give them a few minutes to get it sorted it out.

It's a fair assumption, because there exist forums whose posters do stuff like stick up a link or write three word topics and expect people to fill in the rest. "Tech Fight Clubs", they think, "Yeah, I bet somebody knows what those are, can't be bothered to explain myself, but I wanna start a thread about that." However, you could be right that this is getting sorted out.
