Hey Escapists, being the wise man I am, I took up Valve's offer. I downloaded Portal free and I was super excited to play it! But then I couldn't because my mouse is invisible. D: If I actually start the game I having the aiming cross hair but I can't change the settings because I have no idea where my mouse is. (I'm on Windows 7 btw)

So any suggestions/help?

SORRY ABOUT ALL THE GRAMMAR MISTAKES. I just really want a solution.

Control panel -> Printers and other hardware -> Mouse -> Pointer options -> click the option to use CTRL to locate the mouse. That's the best I've got for you, I'm still using XP and don't know Win7 at all.

This problem has been fixed. It's because I had mouse trails on.

It appears to be related to graphic drivers. If not, try compatibility mode.

EDIT: Also try running it in windowed mode.

Oh well, at least someone else knew exactly what you needed to fix it.
