Just start talking to them about themselves. I did that once and ended up having an hour long conversation with the girl who rang me. She rang me back a week later to clue me in on a couple of sweet galleries she visited in adelaide. Not once in the entire first convo did she even get to her spiel about whatever the hell she was tryin' to sell.
