I have been home sick for a couple of days and have been watching some comedy series.
And many of the jokes makes no sense to me.
1. Fat/chubby people are losers?
So I'm watching a episode of Desperate Housewives and a couple (the Hispanic/Latino family) and they are having a fight since the husband is working with his ex-girlfriend. He is saying something like "It was a million years ago and don't be rude to her" The wife is "Wtf, you think this is okay?! It is not! You can't work with her blablabla". The doorbell rings and the open. The ex-girlfriend is chubby and the wife is going "Come in, this is not going to be a problem"..
So since the ex is chubby, there is no way that the husband might like her? Does not chubby people have personalities or something? You know what I'm saying right? Too the wife Chubby= Boring person, not sexy (Since she is not "skinny") and there is no way she can be a problem for her.
Now it might just be me, but if you only see a person for their outer layer, you are a dumb ass.
In another show, somebody is at her high school reunion and she does see her ex-boyfriend. Her husband sees him and just says "He is chubby. I win."
..Wtf, later we get to know he has 3 kid's a good looking wife and he is the boss of his own company that is doing well. (That was great to see and hear).
Soo what is up with this "chubby/fat= bad person/not sexy?
2. Everybody lies to everybody.
Couples lie to one another about anything. Small things, big things, everything. "Did you do that?" "No i did not, must have been the cat/child/that other guy ect"...
Why can nobody talk like normal people? How can they still be a couple/friends if they lie to one another in every episodes?
How does this work? If I was with somebody that did lie this much i would leave them.. Don't get this.
3.Men can not take care of kids/there own home.
Men are apparently crap at everything that has too do with kids, taking care of house cores or doing simple cores. The female is awesome at taking care of the kids. It is not easy, but she does not give up and does always get the job done. Why is this?
Why is their some law in comedy shows that says that men can't do a damn thing right, unless they like it OR want to do it? As soon as they get a task to do, that they don't like, it is like their mind turns to mud and they can't do it right, no matter what they do.. why is this?
4.Teens are idoites.
See the young girl, trying to get her dream guy to do what she is saying. See how she tries so hard and make so many "clever" plan to make him understand. She tell his friends that she likes him, she talks too him about nothing and is acting all "cute". Her master plan fails, she cries and they have a fight over what is going on. She tells him she loves him and he tell her he loves her. The get one another.... Why the fuck could she not have asked him first?
The boy's do this crap too, but is is "funny" if the girl is running around like she has lost her mind over this boy. And after 10 episodes (If they are lucky) they break up.. Why?.. Please tell me why.
These are the 4 things that I have seen over and over again, these past days.
